Sothis siteis putting some pretty rough ads out on vizzed, and I don't know if anyone else agrees or not. Unfortunately, the very first one I saw, I don't remember what it was. I just remember it shocked me, so I clicked on it to report to David as he always asks. It led me to the site, which in and of itself is not all that inappropriate. This was the only reason I never reported the site and its ads.

However, now I come across this ad: [Picture removed for now. I will summon David to another thread and post the picture there later. I'm not comfortable with it being up and everyone seeing it right now.]

Maybe I'm being a little more uppity than I should be, but that just seems like way, way, way too much to me. Seeing as this is the SECOND ad which made me cringe, maybe this is someone we should consider dropping if others agree? I now wish I had taken and saved a screenshot of the first ad I saw.

I won't summon David unless there are many others that agree.

I may be twenty-six, but I regretted clicking on that second link while my mom was standing behind me. lol Wow, um...yeah, that was a bit inappropriate, I think. I actually got an inappropriate add the other day, but I was on my phone, and it doesn't have screenshot capabilities. I don't remember what it was, but I do remember thinking it was very much inappropriate for this site.

As for that first link, I got some pretty...interesting content when I clicked it as well. Though it was only one of their pop ups.

But, yeah. I'm sort of annoyed by this. I see this one ad all the time that says "Find the sexual predators in your area now!"

It's sort of annoying to see that this is a family friendly site with those ads. I mean, sure, they're not in control of what happens around here, ad-wise... But I see it a bit too often.

I get the same advert as goodboy and a user of this, and I am sure you have seen it too.
This bothered me for a long time and the other day I actually PMed Davideo7 (hopefully it was a good enough reason too). I sent him a screenshot for proof and hopefully (I have no response yet) it will be replaced with something a bit more child and family friendly!

Yup, I've had the same problems not just on Vizzed, but on sites like Yahoo and Canvasrider.  They seem to be popping up more and more lately.  Have any laws changed?

I don't really get any ads because I normally run an ad blocker, so I haven't really seen them, but for you all that doesn't have an ad blocker, that sounds like a very bad ad, and I wouldn't have it on this site.

Wow I am not joking but not long after I posted here I have not seen the Sexual Predators advert. Either it has been replaced or just removed because sometimes I see this thing saying "place you add here" and it looks like it is part of vizzed. Well I guess it is a good thing it has gone, maybe this thread really made a difference! 

I got that same ad for finding the sexual predators on vizzed, and it was really weird. Anyways, I use to get annoying and inappropriate ads like all the time back when I used internet explorer and it would really annoy me and I hated it and wanted it out of my life. So then I switched to chrome which is one of the best decisions I ever made, and I got adblock extensions and ever since then I have never had to worry about this problem ever again. It solves the problem of annoying ads and I don't even have to worry about it anymore. Plus they would slow down my browser and it would take forever to do anything so I really hated these ads. But thankfully now that I have chrome ( the best browser ever) I don't have to worry about it anymore. 

Not unusual, I got a whole host of nasty adds on the site, you could summon david but hes been summoned before, theres not a lot he can do. If he gets the link he can block it but he has no ability to choose what adds appear so it'll continue to be a problem.

I'm somewhat used to seeing ads that are inappropriate, but I ended up installing an ad blocker once I knew they existed. Anyway, even with this ad blocker I am still seeing the Sexual Predators ad. I am under the impression that is a Vizzed implemented thing, but I think that any family friendly site should be free from such advertisements. I mean, if you're an 8-year-old on a Pokemon fan site, why should you be seeing risque ads for a MMO you won't understand? I know the ads for the most part aren't under Vizzed's control, and they can't know ALL of the ads such a provider would show, but I think that it's wrong to have those ads shown.

I thought I was the only one witnessing those, I got so used to them by now I'm instinctively ignoring them. Makes me wonder though, I have AdBlock running and I still get those Ads? Am I the only one?
