Minutes after arriving at the Bog of the Beast  .    :      Zed - " Ok . Paid for me weapons ,  Now all I need is my ship .  But where is my ship ? Matthew do you see my ship ? "   Matthew - " No captain . "    Zed - " Luke . Do you see my ship ? "  Luke - " No captain "   Zed - " I see. So I am not the only one who does not see my ship .  Now unless we are not all drunk at the same time , which would be impossible because I always drink most off the rum and leave none for you guys .   So we can't be all drunk .  Now can someone remind me  who destroyed my ship ? "  Mark - " It was the hermit sir "  Zed - " Yes . No Mr' Hermit would you be so kind as to give me my ship back seeing as how I cannot sail without a ship ? " Hermit - " Sure why not ? Do you still have the orb I put in your ship when I blew it up ?  " Zed - " Yes I think so . "  Hermit - "  Good . Now place it , the sail and its pole and the pieces of drift wood salvaged from your ship on the surface of the water " The crew did as was told and the hermit sat down by the shore and started to chant this -  " Pole to a ship and ship to a sail sail sail .  Just like the moon and the stars and night and day day day .  Restore the pieces of the vessel this day day day  . So the ship again may Sail Sail Sail . At the end of the chant the pieces of what was left from the ship started to levitate along with the orb rotating in the middle . Now the other parts of the ship that were left on the beach on which it was destroyed rose up and flew to the orb . Drift wood , rope , sails and other part of the ship all surrounded the orb as if the orb were the center of gravity , each piece of wood folding on top of the other . The poles standing at their respective places the sails being hung and the ropes being tied by them selves . It was something to see. This continued until the ship was completely rebuilt . Zed - " Um.. Ok. But lets just see if every thing is back where it should be . If everything is " shipshape "  . Heheh That was a pun . " So everyone went aboard the ship searching to see if everything was good and proper and it was .  Zed - "  I don't know what you just did Mr. Hermit but I like your style . Now all that is left is to find and kill the Lockness Monster !!! " 



Ok that is it for now . Don't want to get caught using the computer by mom because I am not supposed to be using the computer. So I have to go now.  Part 2 of this chapter tommorow

Okay, so what weapons did he buy? I want to know if Zed is a swashbuckler type of guy, or a privateer, or even a buccaneer fighting type. I know you said he has a sword and a gun, but does he have a certain style of fighting, like clumsy or masterful swordsmanship, etc?

Sidewinder : Ok Zed bought . A harpoon which he used at the waterfall . He bought canons , Guns , swords and knives .   Anything that would help him beat the beast . As for his swordsmanship it is rather skillful but he makes mistakes frequently and can capitalize in his own mistakes . Yeah that is right . He can make his mistakes his greatest weapons . He is a good strategist but as I said .. he makes mistakes . Now this will be the second part if chapter 8 . Enjoy . 


When Zed and his crew and Amy and the prisoner which I forgot to mention in previous chapters were all aboard the ship , they started sailing immediately .  The lake they were in had murky , seaweed green water , dead fish were all over the surface .  It did not smell too well either . It was a real swamp like lake . Zed - " Ok men  ... and Amy  . We are about to fight the terror of Lock Ness .  We might not all survive but I am sure that I will . Reason being ....... I am a captain soooo you will all die before me . Now then . We are going to need a strategy . I want the canons on the sides , the guns pointed forward and the harpoon in the middle .  Just then a figure could be seen in the water . Zed could not see it because his back was turned toward the crew and the crew was facing the bow of the boat ( front part ) .  Zed - "  I want all  the good shooters to man the canons and the not so good shooters to aim with the guns  ..... "  Amy - " Umm. Zed ? "   Zed - " Not now Amy I am captaining . Now ass I was saying ... "  The figure started to rise from the surface of the water .  Amy - " Ummm Zed ? "  Zed - " Can you stop interrupting me ? I mean Can't a captain  .... "  Now the figure had most of it's body out of the water  and was visible to the crew .  Amy - "  Zed !! "   Zed - " What is it woman ? "  The monster's shadow was being cast on the deck and on Zed .  Zed - * Gulp *   " It is right behind me isn't ? I bet it is .  * Turns around * .   And there it is "   The monster was of course tall.  It's skin matched that of the swamp's water . It was very tall and looked like a dragon without wings . It had a long neck , Complete with a fin on top .  Its entire body was covered in scales and its fins were medium sized  .  Its tail was still in the water so it could not be seen .  Zed -" Awwhhh Seamonkeys "   The monster opened its mouth and three rows of 5 inch long teeth . Some had fish bones stuck in between them . ( If the song finishes then replay it )  .  When the monster's mouth was fully open  ,  the gills on the sides of its neck open as wide as possible  and started to suck in  the water of the lake . Then the water shot out of the monster's mouth at full force , hitting the deck with the strength of  a gunshot . Only thing was that water was not the most destructive  bullet .   The deck was now completely flooded and the weight was starting to bring the ship down . The monster dove back under the water swimming towards the sure .   Zed - "  The ship is going to sink . There is too much water on deck . Now I want half the crew to bail the water out before we start sinking .  The other half man the canons and prepare for the follow up attack !!! "  The entire crew was drenched in water due to the monster who was now coming back for seconds . Zed - "  Ok the beast be coming back . Ready the canons !!! "   Only thing was that now the monster was submerged and swam under the ship to the stern ( Back part of the ship ) .   Zed - " Wait for it ... Wait for it .....   " at first sight of the monster above the  water  Zed - " Fire !!! "   The canons went off each firing at the monster . None making a single hit due to the monster's dodging .  Zed - "  Ok . It can dodge . Well we're doomed "   The monster then swam away , this time towards the side of the lake .  It was now starting its swim back .  Zed - "  What is it doing now ? Anyway . Quickly .  Point the canons toward the side from where the monster is coming from.  But this time fire before it comes resurfaces . "   The beast swam back towards the ship  Zed - " Fire !!! "   But to no avail. The monster was still too quick and dodged all shots fired .  Zed - " Man this is one swift monster "   The beast now approached the ship and jumped out of the water and over the ship , grabbing a crew member with its tail . The crew member was of course screaming for his life but there was nothing that could be done .  The water from earlier was now completely bailed out by the crew .  Zed - " Good . Now the rest of you . grab a gun and the next time that beast comes back . "   The beast was now swimming back but did not fully approach the ship .  it stayed from a distance and , with a big gasp , shot another beam of water at the ship which now was starting to weigh it down . Zed - " Not again "   Now the monster swam back and jump over the ship , this time taking three more members with his tail .   Luke - " Sir .  Too many members are being carried away and there are not enough to bail the water out and shoot at the same time "  Zed - "  Ok.  Fine .  Load all the gun powder in one cannon  and the start shooting.  Let all the crew do this and give me all their boots . " So the crew carried out Zed's order .  Zed - "  You * Points at prisoner *  Can you swim ? "  Prisoner - " Who goes aboard a ship and can't swim ? " Zed - " Don't get  snappy with me. Or you'll be the beast's next victim . Matthew .  Cut his ropes . We are going fishing .

Mr. Zed : Chapter 8? Wow, I have to tell you I have been gone THAT long to miss five chapters...well, I think this is the best chapter I've ever read. Enough said. Your life must be very exciting!

This was great! I'm not sure how you do it and how you get all this time to make these good stories yet you did really great on making this one. I guess you also made yourself clear that your the #1 pirate on this site as well . Anyway nice job and I hope to see your next work!

B619ook : Woah woah waoh woah woah !!!!  Wait a second .  First of alll I am not just a pirate .  I AM A CAPTAIN. I wear a captain's hat which makes me a captain .  8 Points on hat which is on my head * See .  This makes me a captain .  Captain . Now that that is all cleared up I did not answer one of your questions .  Zed is not a privateer . Not a swashbukler . Zed is a Bucaneer . I did not spell some of those words right by the way .

dang dude better than the books i read at school wish i could read this in class during reading break but keep it up and yes i am sorry i havent read all the chapter because i have been sick but besides that your story is pretty interesting and good luck with the next chapters

The beast swam up , Jump the ship and took two more men with it . Zed - " Is all the gunpowder loaded ? "  Luke - " Just one more barrel sir "  Zed - " Take some gun powder and load it in one gun only . Put the rest in the canon and give me your boots "  So all but some of the gun powder was loaded and all of the remaining crew gave Zed their boots .  Waters were clashing at the sides of the boat . Water was being thrown out of the boat .  Water was even being fell from he sky every time the monster splashed its tail  .  Until ...... . The waters were quiet .  There was a surreal atmosphere that surrounded the minds of those on board The Unlucky Charm .  Zed - " Do you here that ? "  Amy - " Where what ? "  Zed - " Exactly  The monster has stopped. I can't see it anywhere .  Where has it gone ? "  Luke - " Maybe it got scared off "   Zed - " No . its . Under us   "  Immediately the ship started to shift from left to right .   Tilting and tilting .  Zed - " He is trying to tip us over !! "  Everyone started to slide to the left then to the right . Each time the boat tilted , So did the crew .   John - " What do we do now ? ! "   Zed - " I have no idea really .... Wait .  Ok .  When the boat tilts to the left , run to the right . And when it tilts to the right , run to the left .  Quickly people !! "   So the crew did as was commanded by the captain and it worked .  Now the monster started to ram itself into the sides of the ship .  Zed - "  Ok. This is one clever monster . I am going to need all of you to throw all the knives except one at Nessy .  "    So they did as was commanded again and one of the knives caught the monster dead in one of its eyes .   Zed - " Bull's eye "   Now the monster swam halfway betwix the bank and the ship . It just raised its head and neck then upper body out of the water , staring at the ship .  Zed   - " How many bullets are left in the one gun I told you to save ? "  Luke - " Two sir "   Zed - "  Shoot one in the air to startle the beast . Now !! "  The shot went off and the beast was startled .  Zed now climbed into the canon wearing all the boots that there were .  Zed - "  Prisoner .   You have worked for England and must have a skill ful eye . Aye ? "  Prisoner - " Aye "   Zed - "  Aye .   I want you to aim the canon at the monster and shoot me "   Prisoner - "  Are you mad ? That will kill you ...  Ready the canons !!!  "  Zed - " Luke . Give me the one knife I told you to save and the gun too ."   Luke handed the weapons to the Captain .   Mark - " What are you going to do captain ? "  I  Zed - " I am going to take this bull by the horns or whatever it has on its head .  Prisoner . On my mark !! "    Amy - " Are you sure this is going to work Zed ? "  Zed - "  No, .  Of course not.  But if it doesn't I will know that My ship lasted the longest against the Lockness monster.  I would also want you to flee in the lifeboatts . If I go down . So does my ship "   Amy - " Well if you don't make it then ... * Kisses him * "    Zed - " Thanks. But I don't think lipstick works against monsters "  Prisoner - "  Ready yet sir "    Zed - "   Wait for it .... Ready ... Aim ..... Fire !!!! "   The canon fired  and Zed was shot through the air . All the extra boots saved his feet from the burn of the gunpowder and fell off his feet as he went through the sky , each on fire .    Zed hit the monster dead on . He clung on to the beast's  neck . The Monster shook and shook in an attempt to get the man off his neck .  Zed then drew the knife that he had and  stabbed it into the throat of the monster . This made themore frantic . Zed then climbed the neck off the monster to its head . He took the gun he had and pointed the gun on top of the monsters head . The point went downwards . Zed - "  Lights out you bloody beast . "  With one swift shot the bullet went through the beasts head and the through his lower jaw . It stopped struggling and fell towards the seas . The monster was now deceased .


The crew or what was left of it anyway rejoiced and were overjoyed for the captains accomplishment .  The captain then swam back to his ship . Though the water was filled with rotten fish and some remains of the crews before , it was still a good swim .  While swimming back Zed saw something in the water . It looked like a mini whirlpool . He swam passed it as he did not see any relevance of the water current .  He was welcomed aboard his ship with screams of joy and kisses from Amy .  Zed - "  Alright . Looks like we won this fight . Set a course  FOR SCOTLAND !!!!  Crew and  Amy - " Hurray and other joyous words "   Prisoner - " Ahem . May I remind you that You are to return me  to my fleet ? They will come looking for me and will sink your ship . "  Zed I will cross that bridge when I get there .  Wait . I still need the head of the beast .  So they sailed to the dead body of the beast and beheaded it . Zed also took the two pectoral fins of the beast for decoration of his ship . 




Ok . Chapter 8 is finished and the book will soon come to a close.  Book 2 will come out when I finish creating a Pokemon game on vizzed  Btw . You can stop listening to the theme now
