My showers usually take 10 - 30 minutes. 10 minutes if I have to rush for school, 30 minutes on a weekend because I love the feeling of the hot water.

15 or so minutes for me.

I do my best thinking in the shower because of all the oxygen going to my head in the shower.

It also relaxes me a lot, so if I had a stressful day, I take a long shower and I am set for tomorrow.

This thread is very interesting to read.  I used to think I was odd, because my showers are typically around 15 minutes long.  If I have to shave, they MIGHT be 20-30 minutes long.  However, I find that everyone in my family takes 30-40 minute showers, and my husband sometimes takes hour long showers.  I sometimes tease him and tell him that he's the girl of our family and I'm the boy of our family.  Most stereotypical girl bathroom habits, he seems to have and I seem to lack.

For me, a shower is a "never wants to get in, never wants to come out" sort of thing.

Since I'm home alone most of the time with only my siblings, I end up usually spending over 45 minutes to an hour in the shower.

I know, we should be ecofriendly and conserve water, but... it feels way too good...

I've been known to stay in the shower for a least and hour and a half.. XD I love showers, I really do. Aside from being clean, waking up, or just getting a second wind of energy, showers serve as one of my main places to unwind honestly. I find it easy to think, just focus on the sound of water and just let my mind and my problems flow free and I think about them without much issue like I would anywhere else. Its an odd thing I suppose but man has it helped me slow down from time to time and just think everything over.

I guess its one of those things that lets me have complete peace for a little bit without all the homework, social drama, ect.. going on to make my thinking process all bogged down.

If I don't shower regularly, my hair gets greasy and gross around my roots and my face itches-- that's why I shower before work or class. Even if I shower the night before and don't have time to sweat or anything, I still rinse off and get the drool off my face and clean my eyes.

Wow just looking at how long people shower for compared to me. I hope this does not appear too strange for everyone but I tend to only spend a few minutes in the shower, and 5 at the most!

This is very interesting to read. I used to take long showers, but now a shower will NEVER take me longer than 10 minutes. I have timed my self before, and my record fastest time was 1:14. I did EVERYTHING you are supposed to. My proudest moment!

6 minutes exactly unless the water starts really really cold then 4 minutes it all depends but it doesn't take that long to shower personally but I'm not a girl either so no long hair etc
