So I found out my wife is pregnant, and I know many of you may not care, but I'd like some suggestions on baby names if you'd like! I'm a first time parent, so just anything to get me started would be greatly appreciated. Just post the name, first and middle would be sweet! But help me out with some suggestions!

Alright, if we have a boy:
Wolfgang
Sargon
Achilles
Casper
Millard
If we have a girl:
Clementine
Guydonna
Cecil
Gretel
Ariel
Those are solid names with a minimal-fair amount of pontential of harrasment.

Haha! Now some of those are actually pretty sweet! Problem is, my wife is not down. She wasn't even swerving when I gave the name Ezreal, which I thought was pretty sweet! But thank you, I really like Clementine for a girl as well!

Hm... I wonder if you think these are some good names.

Now, if it's a girl, go with Athena or Maya...
If a guy, Apollo or Miles.

I'm not saying why I recommend these names, but if someone does get the reference (which quite a few will), I won't be surprised.

I've always liked some of the biblical names, and they aren't used all that often, while having a nice ring to them. However, you also want to be careful in which ones you choose, because I do believe that words' meanings have a bit of power to them.

For a baby boy, I'd probably go with Aiden.
For a baby girl, I've always adored Jael.

I hate that the girl's name is probably pronounced like "jail" because I think it looks absolutely beautiful, and it means something like 'gazelle' if I remember right.  I can look it up later to see.  Aiden means something to do with fire.  Neither have a typical biblical name meaning, but I think they both look nice to the sight.

I don't have any suggestions for middle names though.

Congratulations! Are you ready to be a father?

goodboy : Name your kid after a Greek God?

If it's a boy Boy:

Alexander
Max
Christopher
Paul

If it's a girl:

Erika
Alexa
Maria
Julia

I know a lot of those are common names, but they are names I like. You might also want to think about naming him/her after a relative.

goodboy : It's obvious you're referencing Apollo Justice and Miles Edgeworth from Ace Attorney. ( Same goes for Maya Fey and Athena Cykes)
But yeah anyways, I honestly agree with goodboy on the Miles part. But if it's a girl name her Nagisa. Btw, congrats!

Ahh, now thanks for the suggestions so far! Keep em coming! Now, onto any suggestions for any other religious or mythological types of names, we're both Christian and revere the Lord.So I would never do anything to dishonor God with that. I believe names carry power, and they have extreme significance when naming a person. So sorry if I didn't like some suggestions, just wanted to let that be known for any before they post their ideas! I do like a lot of these suggestions and will ask my wife! Haha!

Ishmael :  *gasps* I was afraid you would think I was crazy!  I believe the same way about names!  AWESOME to know, then!  Did you like my suggestions at all?  (Not looking for praise, but wondering if I could look up more meaningful names that sound similar.... or if you didn't like them at all... completely different names with good, strong meanings.  XD)

Singelli :
Oh, I really liked them. I know an Aiden or I would love to use it. Now Jael is extremely neat, but my wife has a girl name picked out. We do double initials for all of the girl children in the 3rd generation of my family. Ex., Evelyn Elizabeth, Macaylah Mackenzie, Ryleah Raven, Kinsley Kole, Gabriella Grace. So my wife picked out Selah Scarlet. Selah is the musical pause in a Psalm, and Scarlet representing the blood that Jesus paid!

oooooh I love that! That is... an AMAZING name!!! What a blessing it will be if that ends up being it! So beautiful! And that at least gives me some inspiration if I go name hunting for boys' names. If I find the time, I know a little more about what you want now.

Selah Scarlet.... wonderful! I give your wife so many kudos for that! ^.^

Hey, Hey that's great news man! My daughter is two. This is off topic but if you ever need to know anything or you are worried about something let me know and I will try to help you, being a new parent is hard sometimes. My daughters name is Madilyn Rose.

Yeah! She's extremely smart when it comes to anything cool. She's really the coolest to be honest. It was such a cool name, I immediately fell in love with it. And yeah! You're totally alright, we have another eight and a half months to go! Plenty of time to decipher which name we want for our child.

I really like the name Bruce (my late grandfathers name), or David (my dad's name). I'd suggest a few girls names, but it seems you guys are decided. I hope these help, and I may come back with more later on!

Congratulations, first off. Get ready for 3 initial years of cute fun, followed by 15 more of however you perceive them to be.
As far as names go, are you of a certain religion or ethnic background? Those factors may help you decide what to name your bundle of joy. If not, I do have a few names to throw out:

Ara
Shcala
Aveda
Mia

I've always like those for girl names. It's not in my top list, but Jenna seems to be a name that leads to beauty. I don't think I've ever met a Jenna that wasn't attractive. I also like the names Gretel and Ariel that were mentioned earlier.

I don't have many ideas for a boy's name. I'm guessing Spike would be one that the ladies would like as he gets older, as it sounds tough and confident.

Ishmael :

How about the name Ishmael Isaac for a boy?

Interesting side fact: My foster sister (after she moved out and got married) unknowingly named her son the same name as the name we gave my brother when we adopted him.  His name is Michael "Mickey" Lee Helms.

1. Congrats! (and good luck)

2. I've always wanted to name a boy Ethan or a Girl Lyra... It's probably just because I'm a real gen 2 nut.... but anyways, I knew a boy that had a middle name of Solomon and it's in reference to the Solomon in the Bible. so there are some suggestions
