Title says most of it, EXCEPT, APPOINTMENTS DO NOT COUNT. So if you say "Yes, I have gotten out of school early because I had a dentist, etc. apppointment" I will ignore your post and dislike it. It has to be something like "Yeah, I have got out of school early because all the school's lights went out and there was a blizzard." I would count that, and like it. If your post is like 4 words long I am going to ignore it and not give you a rating. So, the question is,

Have you ever gotten out of school early?

But yes, my answer goes to yes. One time the entire school's lights went out, and we had a snowstorm. I know that is what I put in one of the examples, it is true, it has happened to me before. Another time, so much snow that we got out at nine o clock in the morning.

There was a bomb threat once in my school and they made everyone leave. Also, the schools around here were closed for a week and were used as shelters during Hurricane Sandy.

One time, we had a severe Tornado coming by. We tried to prepare as much as possible, and when it all ended, we all got sent home early. Not kidding there.

They didn't really want to continue the session, so they did some parts on Saturday which I hated. (School work.)

A few times. One time, back in Toronto, there was a giant blizzard in the fall, and no one expected it. We had to go to school, but, then, the blizzard was getting really bad, so the superintendent called and we got to go home early.

Also, one time, we had some bad storms coming our way, and there were tornado warnings and crap. Well, my school made us get down while the sirens rang, and when the tornado sirens were off, they loaded us in the buses and made us go home.

I had to leave school early because Hurricane Sandy was gonna hit and the town wanted all of us to prepare and stay home. It ended up that the school gyms got flooded pretty badly, so I am glad we got out of school that day.

Yes this has actually happened to me before the snow started sticking to the streets and houses here so we had to get out of school early although I don't see why though since that kinda happens every time it snows here.

No unfortunately I haven't high school release is the same 2:20 every day for me ad I get released 30 minutes earlier than in middle school. Some days fly by really quickly and other seem to really drag on. But yeah it never changes for me, it is 2:20 every single day. On occasion there are half days where I get released at 11  and come home early, but those are towards the end of the year. But other than that I get released from high school a the same time every day.

One day in like 2-5th grade, I have no idea what year it was, it was snowing really bad outside and right after I got off the bus and walked in school they told everyone that we needed to go home so I got back on the bus and left

Back when I used to live in Pittsburgh, PA, that area gets like a ton of snow all the time in the winter, my school had to be called off early, mostly so that the school doesn't get snowed in or have to face that hilly, snowy traffic.

I think almost everyone has left school early before for some reason; for most people, a snowstorm. Every year I had school days cut short or cancelled altogether because of snow. In 9th grade it was so bad, we had at least a week off because of a snowstorm.
