Okay so I was banned once. it was rather pleasant. I made a lot of friends and I learned my lesson. now some may think a ban is awful. but some people may have good comings in that ban. if so, please share it!  and also share your awful ban stories too. I find them interesting and I think other people do too

I don't know how a ban could be pleasant. Doesn't make sense to me. I have never been banned and I hope to never be banned in the future.

Some people have really learned their lesson and they come back better people, I think it is good for some people.

I hope I don't get banned but I can see how it can change someones personality on this site. Though I am not sure pleasant is the right word for a ban.

I was banned from vizzed twice. Both of those times were because I "viewed too many pages too many times". I think the owner of vizzed got rid of that rule. It happened once when I was a guest, and once when I was a registered user.

Well I have been banned from Vizzed board for about 3 days in the past, what happened was I swore and basically flamed another member of the board that was annoying me and doing rather childish trolling type things on my profile comments, now I am friends again with the member I swore at. How did I feel about my ban, I felt I deserved it and didn't argue or try to justify my actions to the Global mod that asked me why I said such comments. Did I enjoy my ban, how was my ban?, well honestly it didn't even feel like I was banned at all, I was rarely online on Vizzed for the duration of my ban, when I was on I could talk to friends through private messages and if I wanted to play a game I just logged out and played games in the RGR as a guest, so it was almost as if I wasn't really banned or being punished for my actions, the only thing I couldn't do was post. I did learn something from my ban though, just because someone acts rude and trolls you, it doesn't give you the right to flame and insult them.

Never been banned, but a break now and then is always a good thing, though I think a forced break would be a little more difficult to deal with then one by choice..

I never been banned but I have seen some members get banned before I even sometimes ask them what was it like because I'm curious to know what it is like to get banned I heard it was nothing serious though.

I have only been banned from vizzed once, but it was an accident and I am over it. It only lasted a day or 2 and I was then back on vizzed posting like nothing. I don't remember what mine was even for, but it was a mistake and they ended my ban. So yeah it has happened to me once and hopefully it will never happen again. I do my best to follow the rules and avoid being banned.

yoshirulez! : I know what you mean when you say "I find them interesting and I think other people do too". That being said, you didn't say WHY you were banned. I think I might find it interesting.

I've never been banned but whenever I see a banned user, for a second I wish there was a way to find out.

I haven't ever been banned before, fortunately. I hope I never get banned.

yoshirulez! : I was banned before, because I had a re reg called thundergod99 and I got banned for using re regs and using them to cheat rgr competeions, but I've learned my lession from that mistake. and  Things got for the better as more people and users started to friend request me. 50% i've come to know.  50% got random and I never knew them.

So yea. My ban was a stroke of luck.

and Speaking of lucky after my 2nd ban. i got trusted status once again. besides that everything went back the way it was for me.

I got banned once for posting too much in the crazy house during a VCS, before it came to be known as the TdV.  It wasn't long (I think a day), and I still managed fourth in the competition.

I just laughed when you said your ban was pleasant. It made this scenario pop into my head where a convict is being released after serving his sentence. The prison is all colorful, pristine, and cheery, and the guard opening the door for him says "I hope you enjoyed our stay in prison. Have a great day!". 

supernerd117 : Actually the TdV and VCS are different competitions. They happen in back to back months though. I can see the confusion there.

As for this question: You're all banned for a week for having this discussion!!! I am going to personally have the globals drop the ban hammer! xD Couldn't resist.

No, I've never been banned, but it could be a positive experience for those who are able to accept that the ban was merited somehow, and learn from it. They're meant to get you to learn from your mistakes, not to be mean and pick on you. I appreciate seeing those who said they learned from it.

Funny ban story, though it's not related to this site. Not sure if that was the kind of ban you were referring to. But anyways, the game League of Legends, made by RIOT games is a game I play and have played for a while with my friend. So they introduced a ranked feature, which was super cool, and my friend and I were getting rather good ranking in the upper division. Well anyways, one night my friend played when I was eating, and a guy on his team was throwing the game and making everyone lose on his team. My friend flipped, he was horrendous to the guy, and ended up getting a lifetime ban on a 3 year old account that he had put in 100's of hours and real life money, to boot. He was furious, but recently has come back to playing on an account of a friend's. He swears he will never make another account, but I'm just waiting for the day to come.

I got banned once. I remember I was spamming a bit, to be fair I was like ten, so I didn't know better-- but after I learned. 
I feel one of these days my mind is just going to snap (as if I was actually sane when I was born) and I am going to lash out eventually. And when that happens I would be glad. Because nowadays everyone is spamming, leaving, getting banned, or going outside. So Vizzed has lost my interest.  I wouldn't mind being banned either also seeing as I chill in chat all the time.
