It seems as though a lot of people do not sing songs out loud out of fear that they do not want to come off as weird and they don't want to be heard. I am like that too, I think it just doesn't look good to do that in public, or especially when it is really quiet and silent. I keep to myself and I listen to the song in my head, I really do not find a need to sing the song aloud. Not in public anyways. I would most likely just get weird looks if I did that.

Normally when I'm home by myself, I do tend to sing to the song I'm listening to and normally it's a song I listen to a whole lot of times.

I always sing along when I hear songs that I like! No matter where I am I sing along, I love to sing and I love music, and I don't really care if other people think I'm weird. But most of the time I get compliments for my singing by complete random people

I like it when people listen to me sing, but since no one ever wants to, I just sing to myself. It's harder to do so now, but I don't normally sing in front of others unless I feel really confident.

Most girls in my school are like you when it comes to this, I just think it is best to avoid this sort of thing in high school because of all the drama and criticism and I really don't think anyone needs that sort of problem in their life.



But I am glad that you are confident about this sort of thing and you  are able to feel the need to sing whenever you want.

Of course don't sound ridiculous, but I don't see the harm in singing along or humming to a song while you hear it. Who cares what others think right? Good for you man, I am glad that you feel that way. There are too many people that are shy about this (myself included) so it is good to see someone who is confident about this sort of thing every once in a while.

I'd be surprised if there was anyone who DIDN'T. I think it's kind of... natural?  Human nature?  To at least hum along with whatever you hear.....though I don't know why.  LOL

I used to be really self-conscious about singing around other people, but now I hardly care.  I mean, I don't sing well by ANY means, but life's too short to wonder who might thing your singing is atrocious... especially when most people can't sing anyways.  Plus, if people around me decide they want nothing to do with me based off my (lack of) singing talents?  Well I probably want nothing to do with them anyways. lol

I'll sing along to music if I'm in my house all the time. If I'm in public, I only sing out loud ( if I have my mp3 player, although sometimes even if I don't) if my sister's are with me and there aren't many people around. It's hard not to sing along with a song I really love.

I do, a lot. I'm kinda self-concious about how I sing, however I don't consider myself as having a bad singing voice so that fear is kinda unfounded. I've recently been working to get my voice to a stage where I can rap, in key, with Lecrae songs. They are my favs, after all.
