I haven't played Ms. Pac-Man, but I probably would have by now if it had become as great as Pac-Man. I recently played Pac-Man at an arcade machine and it was fun. So I'm going with Pac-Man.

I will have to change my answer here. Pac-man is a load of fun to play alone but I love playing co-op on Mrs. Pacman.  Though the annoying thing is that if you are playing with a noob and they die you die as well.

When someone says think of a classic arcade game, Pacman comes to mind way before Mrs. Pacman xD. That's why I think Pacman is better. Pacman is a classic, everyone knows about it. The game that started it all is usually better than the remake . Technically Mrs. Pacman isn't a remake, but it's pretty close... This was a pretty easy answer for me. Maybe I just need to play more Mrs. Pacman .
