I always say stuff about the Chemical Brothers since I am a massive fan of them. But this time I want to mention a band called sonic youth. They are a sort of punk band but usually classed as alternative rock. My favourite song has to be Sacred Trickster, It is amazing!

Hmm.. The Moody Blues.   

   I'd love to post a few at a time but it did say name a band, not several. Anyways I love concept albums. I also love Progressive Rock. The moody blues definitely fit that bill. "Days of Future Past" is about the cycle of our day. The music goes from morning to night throughout the album.
   I also recommend listening to the song "Remember Me; My Friend". The song is technically by The Blue Jays but... that band consists of half The Moody Blues members(they were around only a few years while The Moody Blues were in hiatus).

  .. but enough ranting from me.

After recently playing Guitar Hero III, I just attempted to play Through the Fire and Flames on medium. As usual, I failed miserably. But, to put a band that I enjoy, I recently just started to listen to some Dragonforce songs besides Through the Fire and Flames. They are actually quite decent, and each have a distinct beat to them.
