This is my next tournament. This time it isn't going to be a netplay tournament! It's going to be a pokemon tournament where users can play each other in pokemon! We will be using pokemon showdown since the rgr plugin doesn't support gba netplay. You only need to enter an username and password to sign up. Tell me in this thread what your username is.

This is an OU tournament so pokemon in the OU tier and bellow can be used. Pokemon in the Uber tier are banned.

Your pokemon cannot have any of these abilities. Drought, Sand Stream, Sand Veil, and Snow Cloak.


You can't use pokemon with Drizzle and Swift Swim.


If someone breaks one of these rules then report them in this thread and you will automatically be given the win.





This will be a triple double elimination torunament so if you lose three times then you are out of the tournament.


If you are inactive and don't play your matches two times in a row you are automatically eliminated.


Bi rounds will be given randomly.





Sign Ups close Thursday August 8th and the first round begins Friday August 9th.


There is an entry fee of 1,000 Viz. If you can't afford this then you can sign up for free.





Prizes:


1st 15,000 Viz


2nd 10,000 Viz


3rd 5,000 Viz


If there is somehow a tie then the users will split the prize Viz.

Kinda sucks that we can't use weather teams, I would love to have some Weather Wars and crush some Politoeds with My Drought Team

Are you going to announce mvhupsel's tournament? He wanted me to ask you. You can make it when you make the announcement for the monthly competitions.

If we don't get a good amount of sign ups then i'll have to lower the prizes... I was hoping an announcement would get this thread more attention.
