For anyone who doesn't know, a lucid dream is when you realize you are dreaming and you are able to control your own movements as well as everything that goes on around you, with practice of course. I made this thread because I was curious if any on this site has ever had a lucid dream or is able to make themselves have a lucid dream. I am currently trying to teach myself how to have lucid dreams because I want to experience it myself. Apparently it's amazing because you are able to do this that you couldn't have in real life such as fly and teleport and it almost feels real as if you are doing it in real life.

I was curious to know if anyone here has Lucid dreams and would like to share their stories and tips about how to go about this and how to do things inside of the dreams. I would be happy to post about how you can make yourself have lucid dreams.

Anyone have anything they want to share?

It is easy just force yourself to dream it that is about it and yes I had had a couple before and practically learned how to have them very easily.

Whenever I actually do get a chance to dream, I honestly cannot say that it is "lucid".

Most of the time I end up being in a completely dark room with no windows and no doors... just walls, and then suddenly the walls begin to close in on me as my body gets squeezed between them before I suddenly wake up, looking around nervously before going back into a deep slumber... where I no longer dream and end up feeling like I went to sleep and woke up seconds later (when actually it's been like 6 hours or more).

I sometimes have those kinds of dreams where I though I was really awake in my dream, and I have done a lot of interesting dreams in each of those.
I'm not sure what caused those, I would guess it's pretty much hoe dreams are formed, but it's mostly your brain that is messaging you in your sleep to go things you would normally do when you''re awake.

This is an easy answer for me, no. I do not dream.

I've had the ability to occasionally (very rarely) know if I was dreaming, but for some reason, I was never able to take control of the dream (or just unwilling/ too lazy) until two nights ago  

In these past two nights, I have done SO much s*** in my dreams D 

I never have practiced lucid dreaming. But I have them all the time. It's strange. I never used to be able to have them at all. Now I can have them all the time. But they're always on accident. I usually dream about having super powers and saving people. I have no idea why.
