Are you addicted to the space button (fast forward button)? I sure am. Whenever i play pokemon light platinum or fire red i am always using it. It really kills the experience and im trying to brake the habit but its really hard. How bout you?

I use it to skip the dialogue that I read so many times so yes I guess you could say I'm addicted to it well actually I made my fast forward button to be z so not exactly.

I'm not very addicted to it, but in all honesty its rapid use depends on what game your playing. For example with Megaman, Zelda, and Mario games the space bar isn't much help its more of a burden,and only makes the game harder on the gamer, but for games along the line of role playing and Pokémon it is highly addictive because it allows you to level up faster and breeze through Pokémon battles and the story its self.

I think fast forward is one of the best features of the GBA and SNES emulators. It's right up there with save states for being bloody useful. And I agree with several of the above posters about the Pokémon games. They are almost insufferably slow without the fast forward, at least for me. I can't think of it as the space bar though because I use an Xbox 360 controller. I like to assign it to the right trigger and think of it as the "get on with it" command.

I am not really a Pokemon player (after Yellow, it all was just the same thing over and over), so I have never used it for those games. However, I never made use for it even for other RPGs. Mainly because I know that if I got used to using it, playing it for real and being unable to use it would feel unbearable. So I decided to never get hooked on it.

yeah the space bar is the best button ever when i play pokemon and try to grind it takes forever but if i hold it speed things faster i like it so i would probably would not live with out the space bar but then sometimes i hate it when the space bar sometimes slows down and lags but over all its my favorite button and im addicted to it

It put's a game on steroids basically. 
You can skip boring dialogue and un-skip able cut scene that you don't really care all a one press of the space bar. Amazing right? Well sir you are not the only addicted one cause it's my crave of the emulators. And it feels addicting to press.

Not really for me, actually. Since I use Mednafan or something to record videos, I can't speed up so I just stick with uploading gameplay videos and all that.

I used to like it a lot with the VBA emulator which lets you go 10 times faster than the regular for once. lol xD
