10.Pokemon yellow:This game is better because you could catch all three of the kanto starters and start out with a pikachu.

These are my top ten video games of all time. A lot of which are compilations. I'm not sure that they count, but I'll post them anyways:
10. Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy - I was glued to this game when I got it. I still like playing it and really want to beat it soon.
9. Sonic Generations - A very addictive game. I didn't want to stop playing until I beat it.
8.  Game & Watch Gallery (whole series) - I really like this series and think it deserves a spot on this list.
7.  Sonic Spinball - I really like playing it because it is so fun! My high score is just under 26,000,000 points.
6. Sonic Mega Collection Plus - This game includes the 7 original Sonic games from the Genesis/ Mega Drive, plus 6 Game Gear games, plus unlockable games, plus extras. No wonder it's called 'plus'.
5. Namco Museum Volume 1 - Not only can you play the games, but you can also walk around the 'museum'. Basically how the franchise got it's title.
4. Namco Museum 50th Anniversary - This compilation has great games, and a great soundtrack from the 80's.
3. Super Scribblenauts - A game where you can create just about anything. Because of the level builder (and the fact that the whole game is a level builder), this game has a lot of replayability.
2. Minecraft - This game is very creative. Need I say more?
1. Activision Anthology - This has many games from the Atari 2600 age such as Pitfall, Megamania, and River Raid. This is another game with great 80's music (though this game had better music).

My top ten video games of all time are as followed:

10.)Call of Duty(all games associated with the title): well when you have active and retired vets in your family you rarely play these kinds of games out of respect.

9.) Ghost Recon(for the xbox360):It wasn't the best game, graphics and physics wise  and didn't seem very realistic.

8.) Mercenaries 1 & 2(for the xbox360): The game was fun with a ton of stuff to do, but the storyline was a little random and got repetitive and a little hard to follow.

7.) Pokémon(all titles in the franchise): This was placed here mainly because Pokémon is always repetitive and Pokémon quality(appearance of the Pokémon) over the last year or so has been rather poor and not very creative.

6.)Gears of War(all titles in the franchise): Well they were very entertaining to play and really experience the story of Marcus as well as Dom and Beard, and  Cole Train! I liked the graphics and overall mood the game creates because it actually makes you feel like your in the game, but it did have its flaws like mechanics and such and navigating throughout the map of the game.

5.)Midnight Club LA(xbox360):Hands down the best street racing game around and I would play over Need for Speed and Forza anyday. The game has an actually story that will hold your interest and has a fair amount of car diversity and it truly is an open world street racing game centered around the LA.

4.)Batman Arkham Asylum(xbox360): Rocksteady revived the Batman Legacy and did what many people couldn't and tried to do(make a excellent Batman game lol) . This game truly represents what Batman should be, a complete and total boss of smarts and bronze and doing what he does best beating criminals to a bloody pulp with his bare hands all to clean up the streets of Gothem.

3.)Saints Row 1,2, and 3(xbox360):I loved this video game series, mainly because of it total anarchy and what used to be a series  ganster/mob game.My favorite out of the 3 is saints row 2 because of its major clothes store and overall feel of the game, i felt like it was 100% real and the events in it could happen in real life.

2.)Batman Arkham City(xbox360):Rocksteady has done it again but this time they perfected the Batman legacy to a T and really did a excellent job at making the Dark Knight the complete Boss that he is. The takedown's are bigger and better as well as the combo moves and Boss battles and the side missions are basically a story of there own.

1.) Megaman(every title/game/spin offs for the franchise): I love any Megaman game and I was a really huge fan of the Megaman Zero series/game as well as the Megaman ZX series/games, as well as Megaman and Bass. I really want Capcom to push out more titles in the franchise or continue the Megaman ZX series or the Megaman X series.

This is a hard question. Off the top of my head I would say

Number 1 Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for the Sega Genesis
Number 2 Sonic Chaos for the Sega Master System. The Game Gear version is almost exactly the same but I play my Master System or then my Game Gear
Number 3 Master of Darkness for the Master System. Also on the Game Gear
Number 4 Shinning In the Darkness for the Sega Genesis
Number 5 Knuckles Chaotix for the Sega 32x
Number 6 Deep Duck Trouble for the Sega Game Gear
Number 7 Altered Beast for the Sega Genesis
Number 8 Hunting staring Polterguy for the Sega Genesis
Number 9 Sonic CD for the Sega CD
Number 10 Pirates of the Dark Water for the Sega Genesis

This is my current top ten but it changes every day or so lol.

My favorite games are as follow.
10: Mario party 3
9: star ocean sine's
8: tales of fantasia
7: final fantasy I and ii dawn of souls
6: Mario kart dos
5: Mario kart double dash
4: final fantasy v advance
3: final fantasy vii
2: final fantasy viii
1: final fantasy vi advance
so yeah, as you can see, I'm a very final fantasy and Mario kind guy, but I'm open to most games, especially rigs, like star ocean, that I didn't know until some months ago, when I played it here on fizzed. I was bored and decided to look for a new game and I found this amazing game that if you hadn't heard of should definitely check it out.

Evil con09: the only problem is that it freezes at some random points, so you have to constantly f2 f4, but aside from that its really cool. aside from that, thanks for replying.

Ohh, that's going to be hard. Alright, bear in mind that this is only my opinion!

1. Grand Theft Auto IV - my single
favourite game of all time would be Grand Theft Auto IV for the X360. Boy, I’ve
clocked so many hours playing this game. It holds a brilliantly detailed urban
environment to explore, one of my favourite video game protagonists ever, a large collection of vehicles to drive, fly and sail (no airplanes, but that
doesn’t matter much to me) and great music. GTA IV utterly blew me away.

2. Shadow of the Colossus - Most people
see this game as the single best PlayStation 2 game. With good reason. It’s not
just a video game, it’s an experience. Every Colossus you face needs to be
taken on in a different way, and defeating each of them makes you think. The
map you explore throughout the game is so huge and varied. (without load
times!!!) And the bond you create with your horse. Gosh, this game is
beautiful.

3. Silent Hill 2 - I actually played this
one the PC first, but on the PlayStation 2 afterwards. I personally always been
more of a console gamer. Silent Hill 2 is without a doubt my favourite horror
game of all time. The plot is engaging, the characters are unique, and it’s
just… pretty frikkin’ scary. xD Most of the other Silent Hill games made it to
my honourable mentions too, but the second game is obviously the best instalment.

4. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - on the
PlayStation 2. I don’t think I could say a lot more about this game than most
of you already know. A huge map to explore with lots of secrets to discover, a
lot of choice in cars to drive around in and weaponry to wreak havoc with.

5. Call of Duty: Finest Hour - this one I
played on the XBOX. When I still liked Call of Duty. A nice variety of
weapons, awesome WWII action set-pieces, etc etc. And that first level where
you storm Stalingrad… man.

6. Mirror's Edge - on the X360. This game
pretty much sucker punched me on the mouth, I didn’t expect much from it at
first. The parcouring was nice, and the soundtrack was awesome. And leaping off
of a high platform, looking down as I trigger slowmotion… It never fails to put
me in awe.

7. Spyro: Year of the Dragon - again,
Sony PlayStation. Even though Spyro 2 is my favourite from the original trilogy
for nostalgia reasons, Spyro: Year of the Dragon was bigger, better, and more
beautiful and you could control new characters, all with their own moves.

8. Spider-Man 2 - on the PlayStation 2.
It’s still the best Spider-Man game, imo. This was the first Spider-Man game
that featured free-roam web swinging through New York. The combat might get a
little repetitive, but you may not even notice it.

9. Ridge Racer Type 4 - also on the Sony
PlayStation. This is hands down my favourite racing game I’ve ever played. There
aren’t a lot of tracks, but a load of cars to drive, even a Pac-man car! And
the soundtrack is just nice.

10. Dino
Crisis - on the Sony PlayStation. Pretty
visuals, thight controls, and some pretty intense moments. I personally prefer
this single game to the Resident Evil franchise.

Some honourable mentions that just
didn't make it:

The Amazing Spider-Man

Bully

Medal of Honor: Frontline

Rayman 2: The Great Escape

Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy

Pokémon Red/Blue/Yellow

Red Dead Redemption

Velvet Assassin

Assassin's Creed 1 and 2

Silent Hill 1, 3 and Downpour

Kingdom Hearts I and II

Tomb Raider
I, II and III

Mass Effect
1 and 2

My top 10 games of all time:

1. Tecmo Super Bowl (NES) - My favorite game EVER! Even I can't believe that my favorite game is a game for the NES. A great game that had the works. It had fumbles, injuries, stats and you didn't intercept a pass every time you stepped in front of a receiver.

2. Assassin's Creed series (PS3) - Every single one of these games was absolutely AWESOME! I never got tired of playing any of them. Also, I can't wait for Black Flag to come out!

3. Crash Bandicoot series (PSone) - Easily my favorite adventure-type game ever! I liked the music for each game and it was challenging if you wanted to completely finish the games at 100%.

4. Spyro the Dragon series (PSone) - I played Spyro and Crash a lot when I was younger. I absolutely loved these games and continue to occasionally play them today. Spyro is also my wife's favorite game to play, so that made me like it even more.

5. Super Mario Bros 3 (NES) - I'm a big fan of Super Mario Bros just like everyone else in the world is. I liked playing all 3 of them, but the third one absolutely stood out from the other two. My favorite part of this game was the fact that you could change into a raccoon creature and fly around.

6. The Legend of Zelda (NES) - An old fashioned guy like me WOULD have 3 NES games in his top 6 of all time. Zelda and Super Mario is kind of like Crash and Spyro to me. Two different games, but they're somehow similar. I'm a very unorganized person, but this game was always easy to find because it was gold plated.

7. Tekken series (PSone, PS2, PS3) - My favorite fighting games of all time. From Tekken all the way to Tekken 6...I've played each game very thoroughly and enjoyed each one, especially when I was having a bad day and just wanted to beat something up.

8. Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (PS2) - I had to get a racing game in here. My favorite part of this game (believe it or not) was the music. I have just about every song that was on this game (including the techno ones) also on my iPod.

9. Grand Theft Auto IV (PS3) - Like Assassin's Creed, I loved everything about this game...enough said.

10. Pokémon Gold/Silver/Crystal (GBC) - Can't forget about these "pocket monsters." Although I only played this up to the 2nd generation. G/S/C/ was just my favorite Pokémon games to play.

I've made an enormous amount of Top 10's in the past week in my spare time, but I must say that the most puzzling one to me was the Top 10 Video Games.

I've made top 10's for different genres, different consoles, and producers, but it became an incredibly tough task to put them all together.

My top 10 video games are:

10. Bomberman Hero - This game has been almost the center of my childhood. While it seems mediocre of a platformer, it still holds up, and it's pretty damn good.

9. InFAMOUS 2 - I haven't experienced a free roaming game where there's so much to do or collect, and at that, you have superpowers. The choice between good or evil is spectacular, and gives a reason to keep playing it.

8. Minecraft - I have experienced this game. I lived this game, I dedicated so many hours to getting my exp up, building my skyscrapers, and claiming the world as my own. This game is just one of the most brilliant games I've had in a long time.

7. Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater - This game had one of the most amazing stories ever, and a really great style of gameplay. I have played this game over many, upon many times, and I still love every little bit of it.

6. Borderlands 2 - This game had an amazing story, hilarious characters, tons of internet jokes, and many, many, many, MANY sub-missions. This game kept me playing for hours, and with every DLC, and every new class, it just gives me another reason to spend a few more weeks playing it.

5. Grand Theft Auto IV - I have spent so many hours just roaming the streets of Liberty City, causing as much meyham as possible. I beat the story with great fun, and it's always an amazing joy to go back to. It's the best Grand Theft Auto ever, and it's certainly the best free roamer ever. I still play it every week or two to destroy a hospital or play with the multiplayer scene.

4. Super Mario Sunshine - This is easily one of the most inventive games ever. It gets so little praise for what it is: A Mario game that had a different plot, and gameplay style. I played this game for a large majority of my time when I was younger, and I had an absolute blast with getting all of those blue coins, gathering all the star sprites, and brightening up the tourism scene for Isle Delfino.

3. Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time - This game was one of the best games I've ever played. It's one of the first games I've beaten, and it's one of the most vast games ever, too, which says a lot because it's the N64. This game had beautiful graphics, great fighting system, so many items, minigames and bosses. The story is spectacular, and it's not just another "Princess got stolen" things, it's one of the best renditions of Zelda, and it's the best Nintendo 64 game ever.

2. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves - This game is the best adventure game ever. You can seriously just play through the story and love it every time. The cinematics, the story, and the amount of heart that was put into this game was incredible. The gameplay is to die for, the climbing, the puzzle solving, and the fighting. Everything is done right. The characters, though lacking in Sully, one of the main characters in the series, make so much development and such emotion that you could swear it's all real. The graphics on the PS3 make it so beautiful, and lifelike. The bad guy is amazing, and the final battle proves to be one of the best experiences you can have in any game.

1. Portal 2 - This game means so much to me. It's one of the most fun games you can possibly play, and it has one of the most hilarious stories ever, and the best characters ever. The amount of hidden laughs, and disturbingly funny dialogues you can imagine hearing. One of the characters even makes a motivational phrase into a fit of rage, it's that brilliant. The gameplay is one of the most inventive things you can do with your normal first person shooter, and puzzle game. The plot twists, the boss battle, there's nothing you can't love about it. I've played through the 6 hour single player at least 20 times, and I'm on my third playthrough of the amazing co-op mode. This is the best game ever.

So there we go, everything I like about those games, and every reason why they should be your favorites too.
