Alright, so this forum is not quite getting the attention I expected it to get. However, I have a 2nd idea, and I would just ask for another forum, but seeing as how I don't have the Viz anymore, I will just ask for donations if people are open to the idea.

I want to change this forum from the Armed Forces Forum to the Movie Review Forum.

Seriously, what kind of attention did you expect it to get? It's not exactly a topic people care a ton about... except for guys in the armed forces or joining the armed forces. And those guys are so few and far in between on a site dedicated to video games, and for kids under the age of 15.

I really want to know. Not blasting you for trying, but you can't have possibly expected it to be as popular as say Innocent Town, The World and Travel, Christian Conservatives or any of the regular forums.

I'll be honest, and say that it'll be a shame to see a forum like this go, but I understand the switch completely. And you're the guy in charge here, so whatever you choose to do, I see no reason to stand against. If it can be done, and you want to, then I'm in favor of it. If the forum isn't getting used much, then the point to keeping it as is if it could be changed, is all but lost.

However, if it cannot be changed, then we could change the atmosphere in it a bit. Perhaps adding some new subforums and such.

If you want game related ideas: a forum about Xbox live/PSN/whatever Nintendo calls theirs

A forum dedicated to a certain genre, or system

A forum dedicated to a certain game or series (preferrably one on Vizzed, so it would get more activity)

Try to keep in mind that not every tenured soldier is gonna want to see the color green or dress blues every where they go.
The ones that do all the time. Are extreme career go-getters that make like E-8 in two years or something. Most people will wish they could switch to decaf but no one dares to tell them.

Setting up a simple Patriot and American Fan site might attract the type of attention you are hoping for. Plus.....I am aware that the Army already has a website for chat and E-Mail and such.

My main reason for saying this is the current name makes the forum sound more exclusive than we want it to be. I honestly avoided it for a few months because it sounded like it was only for armed forces members. Perhaps a more formal title would be for the best. Something that can communicate what the forum is about, without sounding too exclusive.
