While I can understand your methods I disagree with the degree to which you pushed the issue. I think that is the complaint most of us that were affected had with the password changing.

I appreciate that you find exploits on the forum and don't completely ruin the place but you could temper your actions just a little bit. You can still make the point without upsetting quite so many people.

If that is all you are trying to do, why do it to the members when there is nothing that they can do to improve the holes? Furthermore, what you did breaks the promise of integrity of the site to its members. Part of signing up in this site is the promise that private info that is required to sign up will not be compromised or abused by the staff.

I was not effected, but I can see it being very frustrating not being able to sign-in for no real reason. You had goof intentions, your methods are simply different than what most people are used to... and quite frankly unnecessary.

But I should not judge, as I have no idea what really happened, only a mediocre guess.

Yeah it was rather irritating.. But you just get on with life and deal with it.

Personally I find the people apologizing for something they probably know nothing about more irritating.

JigSaw : People who truly care, will always be affected. The sad truth is, most people in the world don't care anymore. I totally agree with you there, but adding negativity to a world where people already aren't affected by it anymore, because it is so rampant- that isn't the solution, but only adds to the problem. You will notice when hostages are taken in most situations, the only people who care are the same ones that always do; everyone else acts like they care, and then they move on, or they don't care to begin with. Although negative aspects of life generally make people stronger, the scars remain as a constant reminder of trials overcame- that reminder is what makes us stronger, and aware of the dangers that impose upon us. Those of us whom are truly wise, learn from both the positive and the negative aspects of our lives, instead of taking advantage when there is good, and feeling victimized when there is bad. My point being, no matter what method you choose to bring change about, only those who care to begin with are going to be truly affected. Change is inevitable, but the legacy you leave behind, and the type of person that you want people to remember- that is something you can have control over. No matter what people think, you will always have to live with yourself, and whether you do right by others or not; that is weight that you alone will always have to carry.
