Well basically title explains all, how did you find out about pokemon? Was it the TV Show? A friend was playing it? I found out about pokemon when I went to my auntie's nail shop and saw her boss's son playing Pokemon Soul Silver on a DS. I thought it was AMAZING, the graphics, the design, the music, the battling, that's when I started getting into pokemon. So how did YOU get into pokemon and found out about it?

I found out about Pokémon when it initially came to the United States. I had friends who had Pokémon Blue and Red and I LOVED watching them play and hearing them talk about Pokémon. Initially I wanted a game right away but my Mother told me that I had to buy it myself, learn responsibility, and so I saved up for months and got Pokémon Yellow (it just came out and I wanted to be different). I then got hooked to the TV show, and I have since been a HUGE Pokémon fan.

I found out about it on a family vacation to Florida i saw my cousins Pokemon cards and asked what it was all about... Of course this was still Gen. 1 Pokemon, so I talked my parents into buying me some cards of my own i got them to spend about 200 bucks on cards that day lol.  Later i got into the games and I've been hooked ever since

I thought it was kinda cool and loved the series ever since. That's one of the reasons why furret is my favorite pokemon, because it got me into the entire series. It's not pikachu, it's not something else, it's furret who got me into pokemon.

When I was a -younger- kid, I saw my friends trading pokemon cards. I thought it looked cool, but I wasn't allowed to play it cuz of my younger sisters. So, I kinda forgot about it. Ever since joining Vizzed, I've noticed the large fan base. Eventually, someone recommended 'leaf green' or something like that. I decided to try it out, and I really like it! Only problem is I'm confused about how to advance... XD I'll figure it out eventually. Lol.

I was actually born the same time that Pokemon came out. My friend got the game and we used to go to each others house all the time so I got to play it a lot. I first discovered pokemon through the show, and I really liked and thats what made me get into it more, and eventually buying the games which was great. As far as the cartoon goes, i was about 7 years old and i woke up to watch Cheese TV (Australian tv show which plays cartoons in the morning before all the kids go to school) and to my surprise ninja turtles wasn't on; so I started watching the cartoon which took its place, which just happened to be pokemon! After that i was an addict.
I didn't find out about the game-boy games until a year later; at the time I did track and field athletics every weekend. One weekend, one of my friends brought their game-boy and pokemon blue. I eagerly awaited my turn to use it, after enough begging they finally let me have a turn. Again, i became a massive addict, I begged and begged and cried until my parent bought me a gameboy and pokemon blue. 
Still to this day, i love pokemon sooooo much (and i'm 21 now >.< ) and i don't regret wasting hours of my life on the game .
