It is a bit overrated...and the game's have kinda spiraled out of normal bounds. I mean, the first "super mario world" was simple. You punch bricks, get mushrooms, and defeat a giant koopa troopa. In all of these newgames...it's crazy! There's so many new bosses and enemies and weird levels. I think it's overrated

I don't think it's overrated, I just think it's getting a bit tired. They need to keep branching out and finding new things without being all gimmicky. I really don't think that the new one (Universe? Galaxy?) looks like much fun-it looks like kind of a pain, really, and it's got the same old boring story line. I really still prefer the older games, which were at least well made.

I don't get what you mean by "Too Simple" it's not like Pong or anything. How complicated do you want them to be? They have huge world layouts. Multiple bosses, Huge level design, a HUGE variety of power ups. Actually, I would consider that the OPPOSITE of simple.

Sure the premise of the game is simple, you are a plumber trying to save the princess from Bowser jumping through levels and collecting stuff.

The funny thing about that is that ALMOST EVERY GAME KNOWN TO MAN SINCE has tried to copy that same exact format. Nomatter how they tried to dress it up.

It gets a little bit over rated like most the game including Mario galaxy witch that game was OK but to critics it must be incredible witch the game is OK but not great. And in Mario sunshine yeah i love that game a lot probably 2nd favorite Mario game but it took me 30 minutes to get 20 star sprites. Yeah we all have are opinions and i'm sticking with mine.
