The RGR Plugin 2.0 is finally here and just in time for the 3 year anniversary of the RGR Plugin (not the anniversary of the Retro Game Room though, that's been around a lot longer). Since the RGR Plugin began development, over $10,000 has bee invested into it. Donations have covered a portion of the costs so I'd like to say thanks to all the users who have donated and supported the RGR Plugin's development. This will probably be the last plugin release for a very long time.

-Video Recording for MAME (arcade) and **MESS games
-Full Screen for *Mednafen games (Alt+Enter)
-Sega CD Native Saving works
-Better *Mednafen game compatibility
-Better Windows 8 support
-Less controller issues for *Mednafen systems
-Smaller download file size (by about 9 MB)
-Various other fixes

How come there is just one Virtual Boy game on the RGR? I never even knew the VB was added.

Davideo7 : NO problem at all Davideo. It's my pleasure to help our Vizzed and to try to make sure the Plugin is the best it can be.

As far as the video capture stuff check out my post in the Beta thread and you will see what I'm talking about.

I'm not sure if this is because of the new plug-in, or it didn't work before, because I never use it, but for Super Mario 64, only the 1964 emulator is working. Also, what exactly is a Mednafen game?

patar4097 : I assume it's a game that can only be played with the Mednafen emulator (the games that come to mind are those new texture N64 games).

I have just tested out video recording on ULTIMATE MORTAL KOMBAT 3 and when I was recording and playing it was very laggy. The same thing for when I viewed the video on my computer after.

Davideo7 : I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you, your team and the investors for all their hard work and contributions. I appreciate everything that everyone has contributed to so far. The vizzed website looks great, everything runs pretty smoothly, you work long hours to contribute to thousands and thousands of posts all to keep this place running so well. I'm sure there are thousands on here who feel the same way I do! Although I don't always have the time to post, I do feel pretty comfortable with this community. I'll be looking forward to any and all future updates! I'm also looking forward to more releases, more "toys" to tinker with and more RGR. Gotta say this is the best website ever!

Wow, been downloading RPR Plugin v. 1.x.x for so long I didn't really expect a 2! lol Also, you said that last time would be the last release for a long time as well. Many thanks and congrats on finding more time and money for another release. v2.0!
Davideo7: Edit: just finished installing the update. Just thought you should know, coming from a computer that has never had an iota of trouble downloading these plug-ins, I WAS able to install the plug-in, but it did come up with an error message half way through. It asked me to verify I had access to a folder in my c drive that I couldn't find, but hit 'try again' anyway and it installed successfully. Haven't tried a game yet, though.
