From Cameos to Full on Plot Twisters. Who's your favourite hidden or unlockable Character?
It can be as silly as "Master Light" in "Mega Man X" giving you a "Fireball".
To Full on Experience Changer Like "Vincent" in "Final Fantasy Seven."
"Akuma" In "Street Fighter 2." Fighting him or playing as him. Was an unreal challenge in it self.

My Favourite was "Dark Sakura" from "Street Fighter Versus Marvel Superheroes."
Mostly because I once had a match with a friend and we both had a team of Two Sakuras. One Dark and the other normal. We couldn't keep track of who was who and who won the fight. We both asked who won. The entire Arcade erupted in laughter. Fun times.
For a month random Players around town would see one of us and shout out a random voice insert of the character's battle cries or taunts mimicking "Sakura". (Life before Internet folks. People did this back in the day.)

There are other characters with wilder moments. I want to hear some of your stories. With any secret character.

Mewtwo is a pretty good character whether it's in a pokemon game or SSBM mostly because he is a unique SSBM character and a powerful psychic type pokemon.

probably Samsu Aran in her Omega Suit on Metroid Prime 1. you need to beat Metroid Fusion and hook it up to the gamecube to unlock the fusion style suits and then you have todefeat the phazon elite space pirate to get the Omega suit(in replacement of the Phazon Suit)!!!! its hard to get but it looks amazing in the higher quality graphics than Metroid Fusion

Mewtwo or Arceus in Pokemon, in smash brothers brawl lucario or sonic are my top choices. In a WWE game Steve Autisn is boss. Other than that I don't really care who i play as.

Vincent from FFVII ofcource. Was maybe the best character in the game.

Mew & Mewtwo (from Generation I of the Pokémon series)

Reason: Well, to be honest... it took me almost two months to finally catch this Pokémon in the games, and after I caught it... I couldn't help but only use it and Mewtwo throughout the rest of the games. Ever since then, I haven't had a need to use anything else but those two Pokémon (except the basic starting Pokémon for Generation I)

I always loved playing through Castlevania Symphony of the Night as Richter Belmont. Playing through as him always gave a proper classic Konami level of challenge that is not seen much in today's games.

My fav secret character is yuffie and vincent from final fantasy 7!

probably ness from the smash bros franchise. Because he kicks so much butt once you unlock him

My favorite is Reptile from the very first Mortal Kombat.

I guess this counts as a secret character. My favorite is probably Mew from R/B/G/Y. He's actually hard to get, and isn't really even supposed to be there. And you can get multiple Mews, so that's an easy HM slave, and a powerful TM user. Probably the best balance of cuteness and power in a Pokémon.

This one is a tie for my Number 2 spot on favourites.
"Hunk" or the "4th Survivor" in Resident Evil 2 and "the Ninja" in The Metal Gear V.R. Missions Disk.
Scoring either of these two characters to play as was a nice surprise.

Granted you get "the Ninja" as a part of the main Mission in the V.R. Disk But it still was an unexpected treat that you had to unlock.

Similar thing with "Hunk" but that's after you get good at Resident Evil 2. And That was a great surprise. Short, Simple, and Cool story too. When you play as him? Just Run and Gun. That Simple. Every thing you want to know is lightly covered in the regular characters games. So, you pay more attention to the details you might have dismissed on a replay. (Brilliant Idea for getting Max Replay Value.)

Technically there aren't any real "Secret characters" in games unless you could hack them to get them or they were only beta... unlockable character tho... I'd say Snake on Super Smash Bros: Brawl.

Possibly Captain Falcon from the original Super Smash Bros. It was so cool playing as him, since he is so fast, and along with that, he is overpowered with the Falcon Punch, along with other moves.

 I don't really know on this one, but the first one that comes to mind is exactly a secret character, but one that excited nonetheless. Tatsumaru from Tenchu 2. Mewtwo on melee was crazy too. When I my cousin told me I was like, "What? That's a lot!". It was, as it turned out, not a lot at all. In fact, in was kinda quick. I thought that one was really exciting at the time too.

I have no idea.. I would actually say Funky Kong from Mario Kart Wii. lol

Because he has the speed stat, and he could very fast. Plus over 20 world records have been set with him. lol
