I love "Conkers bad fur day"....... BUT...
I can't find a F.P.S. that's more inventive than "Golden-eye ROGUE AGENT" (X-Box)
The Music Rocks. (Paul Oakenfold.), The guns are great. (I mostly enjoy funny named guns in any game.), And the Powers from "the Eye" are cool cool COOL. The story is "One of a Kind". (No one made a game about being the "bad guy". "Hit-Man" and "Warrio" was as close as it got. Back in those days.) My Gut tells me to root for the bad guy on this one.

Probably not EXACTLY the answer you'd be looking for, but I'd say Portal/Portal 2...They are 2 of the best games ever created, and more or less have changed the way I look at first person shooters.
