in mario kart 7 it doesnt matter which character you pick because you can chose the karts. i like lakitu and luigi and wario. lakitu because he sounds funny. luigi because he makes funny noises and funny cries. and wario because his voice just sound so cool

In every Mario Kart game where he is available, I have played as Dry Bones. It just seems his acceleration is better than all of the other characters. I do sometimes play Yoshi as his control is really nice. Of course this all depends on the choice of car, but I am generalising here.

It depends on the game. For the earlier games (Super Mario Kart, Mario Kart 64) I typically choose Toad because he is fast and one of my favorite characters. But for the later games such as Double Dash and Mario Kart Wii, I usually choose Bowser. It really just depends on my mood though.

But if I can't play with a Mii, then I use Mario. He's classic and awesome, very well-balanced.
