I use my kindle a lot, and it is pretty awesome. It is like a mini computer, that is also a book, that is touch screen and can play games. Kindle Fire's and Paper Whites are pretty cheap, like under $200.

My younger brother let me use his Android tablet before.  I found to be okay but some of the stuff like Wi-Fi didn't work.  I would consider to buy a tablet but I find my laptop to be better.

I also bought one for 99 dollars.. I will admit it was a waste of my money. I would rather get a more expensive quality one day when I can afford it.

Yes I have and to tell you the truth they are much better than computers and laptop because they are faster lighter and have better screen resolution.

i use a tablet a lot just to go on vizzed since my computer broke , but i don't care becuase i like to be on vizzed everyday on any device .

I never used a tablet they seem to be too expensive and I'm always afraid that If I get one it will break so no I never used a tablet ever I don't plan on doing so either.

We use lots of ebooks as references and I need to browse the internet in class for research, either for projects or seat work. Our teachers send their notes through internet and we download the files (usually in pdf format). There are too many notes, and I'd rather have them digitally with me and just write the additional notes in my notebook. I also use my tablet to do computer programs for our laboratory classes (perhaps for practice before facing our machines in the computer lab).

Laptops are too much of a hassle to bring everyday, and I dislike having fancy phones. I use mine for call and text ONLY. You won't really like showing a new android or iphone on the streets with thieves lurking around, searching for their next victims, and it would be a problem if there's an emergency call from your family that you just can't decline right? Also, I like a tab's bigger screen compared to smartphones. I don't want my eyes swelling due to reading ebooks and programming for hours because of a smartphone's small screen.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab II 7.0 and I got it for 200 us dollars and it's worth it, although I don't use it much when I'm at home, it's definitely useful outside specially in class. As others have said, it depends on your purpose. If you're afraid to have it damaged, there's a huge variety of tablet cases, there are even those with a strap in case your hands slipped. Mine looks like a hard bound cover with black shockproof fitted case. I also have a screen protector.

I'm currently browsing vizzed on an iPad 2. It's convent and it's probably what I'll use when I go back to college

I bought a Samsung Galaxy tablet myself a while back and I absolutely love it.

I don't have a smart phone myself; but even if I did, I would prefer the tablet to the phone simply for what I do with it. I do a lot of forum RPGs, so I'm constantly reading and writing with it, and the smaller screen of the phone would annoy the hell out of me. I also use the e-reader function of it quite heavily, and the portability is great as well; much easier to carry it around with me than lug around a laptop, and I carry it around with me wherever I go.

It's especially useful at work for me because then I'm not using up work resources, and I can visit or read and write whatever I want without worrying about complaints. It pretty much fulfills every purpose I wanted of it, so I'm quite pleased to have bought it myself.

I don't really use a tablet, mostly because I don't have one with me for now, but I'm thinking of getting one sometime.

Yes, only at school though. It is not anything to get all worked up about never using one.

I actually have used a tablet and they're not really that good in my opinion. I want to go back to the days where the tablets you could get were the ones from a chemist! 

Yes I have used a tablet, the Ipad 1 and 2 and the Samsung tablet. Me personally I prefer the Ipad tablet because it had a faster data download and processing speeds and it was very easy to figure out and use. Overall through I wouldn't use them for very day compter browsing because they are to sensitive in calibration and scrolling on them is a pain.

I have indeed used a tablet, but really the Kindle Fire HD and iPad 4th gen. I didn't really like the kindle, but I like the iPad. I don't see how people say it's overrated, it's quite a good device, if you have a computer. My mom is the one who has the ipad and she likes it. There are limitations, but most apps make up for it

I have indeed. Though the iPad has more apps I have found the Google Nexus 7 has made a better impact on my review on tablets. Personally tablets are handy for quick browsing, like check Facebook, Twitter and even Vizzed. Though I strongly prefer laptops for surfing, it is a lot easier. I don't think you even need a tablet since most laptops are becoming more like them, like my dads touch screen Acer.

Yes i have. Here is the story. Once every Friday the teacher lets the kid play with his ipad. That week was me. I worked very hard that week. When he gave it to me i was very happy since my parents can't afford a ipad. When i turned it on he had lots of games. When it was time to leave i knew that day that the ipad was better then i ever thought. I am saving up to buy one. Right now i am ok with just using this computer and playing game on vizz. That is the story right there.

Yes, I have used a tablet. Actually, I own one. However, I only use it when I go to bed on a school night if I can't sleep right away. I don't mind using a tablet. I like it, but I use the computer more.

Yes, specifically it was an iPad. Usually, I don't like many of Apple's products, but the iPad has changed my opinions of Apple. It had so many features and customization options. The only thing that I wasn't impressed with was the lack of flash support. Other than that, it was really amazing.
