I am a Christian myself and I can honestly say it does not sound real to me.

Yes I can agree with your logic there Astynax27 but I still would have believed it would have been put into the bible for people and other Christians to know of how Jesus came here and delivered god's word and how he did so and how he had lived.

I believe also that it is only human for a person to fall in love with another but again his father loves all living things on this earth equally and does no favor, so I am to believe this statement of Jesus having a wife is false even though how it could have happened but there is doubt in the for Christian faith

The bible is history and there is no doubt about it because it was not written and made up by one person it is made up of many people who have lived when he had and wrote it down to keep the faith alive and for later on. Also being a fact since the people who had wrote it were did not speak English people who studied these kept on translating it until today where we have it in English, a language we all know

The rule that priests would be not allowed to marry was laid down by some pope hundereds of years after the life of Jesus. I seriously doubt he would have had the time for marriage as we now know it especially since he asked everybody to drop whatever they were doing and folow him.
