TWO YEARS? AND I'M STILL HERE?

I must be some kind of nutjob to still be here. I mean, come on, they say here on Vizzed, the nuts show their true colors. Well maybe they don't say it, but I certainly did. So now maybe they will.

Where do I even begin?

Oh, right. Here. Two years ago. I wanted to play a pokemon game. I didn't find it, but I did find plenty of hacks So I ended up staying. How is that for a twist of fate?

Searched for games, end up becoming one of the top 3 posters in site history.

No big deal.

I've still got two people to catch before I'm the best, and those two certainly know I'm catching up fast. Maybe not so much the last two months haha.

Anyway, this isn't a post count brag thread, this is a thread about how I have been here for a full two years, which is insane for me. I've never been part of any site as an active member for two full years. Except Facebook. But that's a social media site.

What does that say about Vizzed? Probably not much about the site itself, but rather the community. See, it's because of the community that I keep coming back. Some of the newer members won't remember a time like this, but believe it or not, at this time last year, I was only a local moderator. It was also around that time I was at the peak of my vizzed career.

Veneeval, Veneeval+ syndromes, thousands of mod actions. I was insane on the forum on all sides for a good half year. Half of my second year was devoted entirely to making this communities forum better than it had been before, despite there being a bit of a low in activity at times.

I would like to say, Mission Accomplished.

In late last year, geeogree came to me and asked if I wanted to be a global. At the time, it meshed with my goals to make the community better. So I accepted. And here I am as I am now. A super global who does everything he can to hold himself (and the forums' cleanliness) together.

And you know what, I'm not tired of it yet. I can still keep going. So I will. For you, the community.

You may be thinking, wow, a leggy milestone thread, and he hasn't summoned anyone yet? Well, the first part of this was a thank you to all of you. The community. You deserve a shoutout far more than individual people. However, I do have a few special thanks (some people will feel a case of deja vu)

I know this is going to sound similar to what I said last year... but thank you again, for making a forum that has withstood the test of time. I joined only 2 years ago (I haven't even been a member for about 1/4 of the site's life!) but I've been as active as I have been (for those unaware, this page shows how active I've been the past 2 years. Yeah. Be amazed everyone else) for one simple reason. I like it here. If I didn't, I wouldn't still be here through everything.

You are still both role models for how I want to do things on Vizzed, and for very different reasons. DH (again, nostalgia pick) is the reason I even wanted to mod in the first place, and it was thanks to his efforts that I eventually learned how to do a lot of crap. As for geeo, he took me under his wing once I came back from a ban (which I very rightly deserved). It's thanks to HIS efforts that I ever became a local a second time, and then eventually, succeeded him as senior global, and mod manager. He really trained me well, I'd like to think

Anyways, I thank you for begging my indulgence and reading this rather lengthy post about how I'm remembering my time here fondly. I have a job to do, and I'm sure as hell not doing it by making this post. Back to work!

Congratulations Leggy! It shows how awesome you are! You are one of my favorite member on Vizzed! I am only here for one year.

It is impressive. Most users peak in their 1st or 2nd year and slowly start to fade off after that. You've been the top poster almost every month since you've been here.

legacyme3 : Yeah you've done in 2 years what it took Geeogree to do in almost 9 years (assuming you pass him which I'm sure you will before the year ends). I guess the same could probably be said for me too in a year from now.

Some how it seems you have been here from the start but you only came half a year ahead of me. You have become a valued member of this site in such a quick time. I know a lot of us are glad you are around. Congrats Legacy on being here for 2 years!

Your name fits what you will be leaving behind if/when you are dragged away from Vizzed. I do believe that it will be hard to find any other member who can even begin to meet the "Legacy" that you are creating, Leggy.

Congratulations on your 2 year mark. That must be something you're really proud of. I may not be as active as you or other members but I try to be as active as I can. Plus really active members like you give us new threads to post in. So we all benefit from it.

I don't want to take all the credit for your success here but I can't help it.

If it weren't for me you would have been long gone before 2012 ever rolled around.

And let's be honest.... it took me 8 years to get where I was because the board took 8 years to get here. If I had joined in 2010 I would probably have posted even more during those years than I did. But I digress.

Congrats on hitting your 2 year mark. You may be close to me in post count but you'll always be my replacement.
