The index of the site, Vizzed.com, has received a complete overhaul. Here's what's changed:

-It now has a new banner (before it had vizzed board banner which didn't make sense since the index isn't vizzed board)
-It now has links to each section of the site (the 2 new upcoming sections will also have links when they launch)
-The boxes for the sections of the site contain brief info of those sections and quick links to various pages
-It no longer displays the forums (no reason to since this page isn't the forum)
-It no longer has a section for online users, that instead has been placed in one of the 5 boxes toward the top left
-The box that the online users info is in now shows the 'posters' that are on the board rather than everyone
-The announcements are more organized

The 3 big reasons for this update:
-I wanted a page that was quicker to load (it loads 2-3 times faster than the old index)
-I wanted a page that wasn't so big and crowded (I like simple indexes)
-I wanted a page that quickly shows what the site offers with quick navigation

JigSaw : Does that have anything to do with the fact that the index page now has links to 2 of your features? lol.

No, I forgot about it till you mentioned it lol. But its probably good you added those cause its pretty much impossible to find unless your browsing the edit profile or faqs page.

JigSaw : Yeah I like to think of the site index also as sort of a 'site-map', it's not a thorough one but it's a brief one that does a great job at pointing the user to the most searched for pages.

I really am loving this new index. It's a very nice thing to see when you log in in the morning, or joining. It's awesome. Good job.

I saw the new index just now and it looks pretty good. It's definitely cleaner than before and people will have an easy time finding what they want.

I love the new logo, too. It's so much cleaner and awesomer. =o

I LOVE IT!!!

I opened up the page, saw the new logo, and instantly loved it. I always had the logo at the beginning of each of my RGR videos. I kinda want to make another one just so I can use that logo in it. The overall layout looks really nice.

The only issue I have is the Announcements box. I understand that it's supposed to show that the site is active, but I always found those boxes to be kind of ugly. Also, when there are issues with the site such as DDos attacks, those announcements will appear on the page which may actually make us look bad. Just my opinion.

I do really love the overhaul though

BNuge : It's just another way to get people to read the announcements and I really want more people to read announcements. A lot of sites have their announcements on their index page and that's what I want to do as well (actually they were there before too but just more organized now).
