For those of you who haven't heard yet, the FBI took down MegaUpload and MegaVideo. All of the toons in the Retro Toon Room were hosted by MegaVideo so this means that there are no more videos in the RTR. I was planning on removing the big link to it at the top right eventually and replace it with a future feature but I never planned to take it down permanently.

Just thought everyone should know.

Wow I never watched the RTR but megaupload being taken down is big!  I am so glad a month ago I downloaded my doll files from my megaupload account!  If I didn't they would be lost forever because the site that created my dolls no longer exist!  That bites I always used megaupload for everything!  Most of the files on that site didn't have to be downloaded in millions of parts!

It really is sad that MegaVideo is gone. I watched so many old movies, old cartoons, and shows that are on channels I don't get because I can't afford them. Now I don't know how I'm going to watch Dexter. Sad time. I didn't realize MegaVideo was MegaUpload. I only watched the first few episodes of Pokemon in the RTR. I would have watched more in there if they hadn't already been taken down before MegaVideo itself was, but I, personally, am just glad that I never had an opportunity to get too attached to the RTR. Thanks anyway for providing it for us, David. I'm sure it gave some others their childhoods back.

Since youtube now lets you do longer videos, I would think about doing youtube but just to stay out of the radar, I think I'll stay away from this sort of stuff from now on. Just to many legal issues when it comes to music, movies and tv shows and I'd rather not make vizzed a target because of it.

i never even tried the rtr myself, although its not hard to find most of them online anyway so its not a major issue, megavideo generally offered high quality ones though, but i know a few sites that can deliver equal results.
