Does your school have an Anime Club? I know in the anime club we had we just watched anime and then tried to make our own manga. But I want to know what do you do in your anime club? What do you like about it? And whats the most fond memory you have in Anime Club?

Yep! And I help run some of it. Most of the time, we watch a random episode of anime in class. We've organized an outside get together before and it was pretty fun. x3

Most people in the club like action anime while I don't, though.

No one in my school cares about Anime, so no, my school doesn't have an Anime club.

My school used to have one and quite a few people joined it and they did a few things like watch anime and tried to make their own.  They stopped having the club though and I am not really sure why.  My friend was in it and he told me that is was cause people weren't going to the club meetings or something like that.

When I was in high school there was an Anime Club that started my sophomore year. It was awful, the club founders took it way too seriously. They thought it was super serious business, and I think they actually started it because it was part of a class assignment to run a financial entity like that. It was super weird though, they ended up going on a power trip, vetoing absolutely everything that every member wanted to do. All of the original members only went for a couple of weeks and pretty much everyone stopped going. I'm not sure what came of it, but two years later I was talking to a guy who just came to the school, and he went to a single meeting and said it was exactly the same as when I went, except this time there were only three or four people there.

My school would never have something like that. If I even asked to make one they would be like "wtf is Anime?".

Although I should try and start one, since most of my friends enjoy watching it :3.

Dear god how I wish, but only 2 or 3 kids watch anime including me.

It would be real nice if we did... but no, we don't have an Anime Club at our school.

Hopefully in High School...

No but that would be amazing. We do, however, have a club called ZEST which is short for Zombie Emergency Survival Team. We get together every thursday night and prepare ourselves for the zombie apocalypse. It's pretty awesome.

My old school in Southern California had one(Was in So Cal from 8th to 11th grade and I'm in 12th grade now in Michigan). I used to go to the anime club in between the 9th-10th grade, but I stopped. My reason for stopping: MY GOODNESS, the members were MUCH too insane about anime. They were always trying to do cutesy anime poses and squeal like little anime girls and doing anime quotes, dressing with generic anime-loving accessories(over-killing it), and they were just all-around annoying. I still kinda liked them, but I didn't really wish to be associated with them in public as I am a self-conscious person. Did hang out with them before and during lunch at school. There were a few level-headed ones, (*2.5 to be exact*), and I really only talked to those 2.5. Sometimes we would splinter off from the group when they were being too embarrassing I.E., shouting something about tentacle r@pe for the whole world to hear. Now that I remember, we had developed a dividing line to distance ourselves from the insanity of the extreme anime lovers. Anyone who crossed was susceptible to the Kishin madness that envelopes you when you are in their presence for an extended period of time.
*I say 2.5 because one of them can be completely ration when he isn't in their presence, but can be almost just as crazy as them when he converses with them.

Oh wow, I only dream of such things. I know few (approx. 2) other kids in my school who have watched and enjoyed anime. I am an avid fan myself, and I would love a club that would support me and help me to actually draw manga. Such things only exist in my fantasies and, of course, my unborn anime creations.

No, there's no anime club that I know of around here. There might be enough people that like anime here, but I don't quite care enough to start one.

My school has an anime club but I'm not in it. Though I do have a friend in it and I know one time she told me they were throwing a Pokemon party.

That sounds like an awesome club

Nah, no anime club. I have seen students reading anime during school hours.

I personally don't read much anime.

I guess I'm very lucky then my school has a great anime/manga club with 30 or so members it is on most days and has it's own website. All the people there are like minded people and not too serious about stuff. We usually have random anime's on with the option to read/draw manga we get some drawing lessons and have even had a professional manga artist visit us to help. It's a shame the rest of our school isn't as good.

Unfortunately, my elementary school doesn't include an anime club. Anime clubs sound quite interesting, but a tad complicated. Does your school insist on creating an anime club if there isn't already one included?
