It is no secret that the next game for the Smash Bros series will be coming to the Wii U. There are rumors, however, of what to expect of this game. Back in September a document was supposedly leaked, and it has been all over the Internet. http://www.zeldainformer.com/2011/09/super-smash-bros-universe-japanese-fact-sheet.html In addition to the possible name of the next game, the document contains various "facts" of what might happen in the game. Nintendo simply said "no comment" concerning this document. Masahrai Sakurai has been angry that Nintendo even spoke about this game at all because he is devoting all his time to working on Kid Icarus Uprising.

Share your opinions about the document, and post any other imformantion you may come across concerning Smash Bros.

I, for one, think that because Nintendo is not making any comments there must be a few grains of truth in the document; however, Nintendo likes to avoid giving away information as much they can, so we must be open to anything different happening than what we would draw from here.

I have seen this before and I cannot wait for it to happen.  I can't believe Japanese would not keep their mouths shut about this.  I would of pissed my pants if I saw it on a commercial saying that it will be released in a week.  They just ruined it now because every one is now going to talk about this.  Anyways, this game does seem to be my favorite kind of games of all times.  What I heard was that they were going to try and put Capcom characters in the game.  What I think about this is stupid because they are not Nintendo-related.  I expect them to put Bowser Jr., Daisy, Waluigi, Dixie Kong, Micaiah, or Sothe in the game.  I hope they do not have characters that are suckish cause they did in Brawl.  For example, they should of never put Snake because he is in M rated games and all he uses is guns.  What the f*** were they thinking.  I do not think that Snake is actually a Nintendo character.  Another one is Toon Link because I would rather have Young Link back.  Another thing is that they removed some good characters from Melee out of Brawl like Mewtwo, Roy, Young Link (like I said), and Dr. Mario.  Anyways, I hope that they do not mess this one up.

Haha, can't wait for this. I have every SSB game and I hope this one will be good too.

I will take this like a grain of salt. I am not going to say that this will most likely happen because it probably won't. The only thing that may happen is the name and general idea. Other than that probably just another awesome game in the series.

Well, there's always the fun part of speculation. I didn't think they'd be daring enough to start releasing information about the game anyways.

I hope they make the soundtrack for this game as epic as Brawl's. That's one of the main reasons why I bought it.

I heard that the name was supposed to be named either "Clash" or "Next."


I hope they add in some awesome new stages.

I'm glade that this is a fake, as the Mother/Earthbound series is one of my favourite Nintendo series.

So the page is fake.  Big deal.  It does not mean that they are not going to make it.  They are definitely making the game, it is just going to be taking a while to do so.  I did not care about that fake page.  Even though it is fake, I still believe that they will be making the game.

I don't know.... It depends on the characters. I mean they need to add a LOT more characters to get my attention.

I for one feel that the Wii didn't last long enough (and that they could've done more with it so that it lasted longer) so I'm done spending money to upgrade my gaming systems. Though I would still be curious to see the new SSB game.


catfight09 : Really!? If they add more characters they'd definitely have to change some of the modes, in my opinion. I mean, All Star Mode on Brawl took forever due to the number of characters. haha But maybe I was the only one annoyed by that....

Oh well, I was sure somebody would make some fake page. However, there' no doubt that they're making the game. I just hope they add some characters that haven't had the spotlight for a while. Perhaps the game can be named Super Smash Bros. Disagreement?

Hahaha! As long as they have the Black Knight from Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, I wouldn't care when it finally gets released to the public.

In Nintendo Direct, they did mention the game, but not said any info about it, just saying that they are still going to make it.
