One of the girls that I went to school with died the summer before our freshman year of high school. Her and her sister hit a telephone pole, but only the girl I went to school with died.  She died a little over 5 years ago on July 11.

Well ,when I transferred from High School of Art &
Design to Cortona Academy High School and two weeks
into my transfer a student in my class died because he got
stabbed from not giving up his shoes to the person that was
threatening him. Kinda sad even though I didn't know the guy.
I saw some of the students in my class crying , even the teacher.
I'm guessing he was a very good student .

Someone in my grade passed away last summer. I think it was July 18th last summer but im not sure. He died of cystic fibrosis.

2 My 6th grade math teacher had a heart attack. she was a very nice person. The second was a friend of mine in 8th grade that killed himself. Also a pretty nice guy. Didn't deserve the Sh*t he took.

Yes to friends of mine died.

Kinda depressing topic we've got here. As far as I know, only two people died when I was in high school. One got in a car with a drunk driver and died in an accident. Never knew him. The other was a bit sadder as nothing could have been done to prevent it. A girl two years my junior had a rare brain problem that basically resembled a ticking time bomb. When she was walking up some stairs, she collapsed and died. The paramedics came, but nothing could have been done. Apparently, she was the first person to ever die on school campus since the school started almost a century ago.

In 2011, before I went to the school, a grade 4 girl died, I think from being too sick or something.She even has her own tree in memory of her.

In highschool some girl died in a car accident. Later on in "college" I go to first some guy drowned just after graduation and last year somebody died of cancer. I never knew any of these people personaly, but sure it was sad.

Thankfully, nobody has died in any school I went to while I was at that school. But seeing all these other people whose friends and classmates have passed away makes me feel sad for them (yes, I'm talking about all of you), so yeah.

Sadly, yes. Shortly after me getting out of A I T, and getting stationed in Hawaii, I got a package in the mail. It had a wallet on a chain in it. I did not know what it was, and then I looked at the return address, and it was from my sister and mother. I knew there had to be a letter in the package somewhere. It was in the wallet. And it was a short note. The note said that one of my best friends that I had known since first grade, and still talked to on a regular basis had been killed by a drunk driver. He had just gotten this wallet a few nights before, telling his mother who was there with him at the time he bought it and was in the wreck with him (she survived, though she was not driving), saying that it reminded me of him. 

It was hard. I wear it every time I go out. He always had my back in school because I was picked on. This is my way of having his back; of never forgetting who he was and what he did for me, and all the good times that we had.

I've had a couple of people pass on. One girl was in the lap of another guy without her seatbelt on when their van got hit by a train. Another guy was speeding at 90 miles per hour with alcohol in his system and wrapped his car around a telephone pole. A third kid was struck by lightning on the beach during some intense storms last summer.

There has been a student who went to the same school as me who passed away ( Feel onto train tracks... nasty way to go... )
Thankfully I didn't know them personally or else I would be mortified to go near a train.

Yes, at my high school there was a student who committed suicide and jumped off of the I-95 highway and died. I think he had problems with his family, and he rode my bus. I didn't know him, I think he was a senior or something like that, but he seemed to be a really popular and good person. This happened a few months ago, and a letter was sent out from the school concerning his pass on. I may not have known him well, he was only 17 when he died after being struck by a vehicle on the I-95. His name was River Ciccocioppo, he was either under stress or anger that caused him to do this. Many of my friends that were close to him were emotional about him, and I couldn't help but feel sad about it. He passed away December 13th, 2012. I felt so bad about it, but I am sure my friends had felt even worse about what happened. I will never forget him, he could of had a bright future...so young.....

Well, to be honest... who hasn't had students from their school pass on?

I mean seriously, with all the gang violence and disputes most of us keep on having... our whole world is no longer the boat it used to be, instead... people are forcing others to jump off the deep end and drown.

If lucky, one of these life times... people will realize that our world, our lives... is nothing but one giant boat, and if we don't all paddle, sooner or later... we'll sink.
