I personally think its a good one. The Pokémon aren't just clones of the 1st generation, there are cool new features, like dream world which makes the new Pokémon even more effective. But however, I've heard different people say that the Pokémon are trippy, dream world is too hard to use, and this Gen sucks! What's your opinion? I'm interested to hear vizzed's choice.

I think Pokemon gets underrated with each new generation.

I like the new features that are included with each successive Pokemon game. It really expands on the Pokemon world and interactivity between the players. I don't know if I'm too fond of the Pokemon that come out in each generation, though. However, a 5th gen is going to be inevitable, so we might as well embrace it.

I'll agree that the 5th gen of Pokemon is interesting but nothing will compare to the original 151 Pokemon.

That's the problem though there has never been more new Pokémon introduced than this one and I am worried that they put all of there ideas in the 5th Gen and that means that if there is a 6th Gen it will take a long time to get more.

I loved this generation believe it or not this gen saved the entire pokemon series for me the third and the fourth made me lose interest in the game but the new pokemon and gym leaders in the fifth got me back into pokemon! Although a lot of people say the pokemon look stupid in this gen look at EVERY other pokemon pretty much all of them look stupid but that's why they are so cool!
I loved this generation believe it or not this gen saved the entire pokemon series for me the third and the fourth made me lose interest in the game but the new pokemon and gym leaders in the fifth got me back into pokemon! I haven't played neither Black or White, but I will buy it in this week one of these games.. But we need to observe some "topics"...

1 - Graphic

The graphic, of course, is the best one.. New cities and the possibility to see in 3d is awesome..

2 - Design of the pokemon

Compared to previous generations, the design of pokemon are somewhat different, so that many hate them. I am one of them, I think a little "strange" some pokemon...

3 - History

But I beat the elite four so much and now I'm travelling Unova and to my surprise, there's so much more to discover!

P.S. Please don't ask for any friend codes, I don't know how that WI-FI stuff works, sorry! If someone could explain it to me.....

I like the new features that come with each new generation. I like the fact that new Pokemon are "discovered." However, they are cranking these generations out too quickly to maximize profit from the market so the newer Pokemon themselves are getting crappier and crappier. A lot of them seem very similar and not very many are unique in and of themselves any more.

I love the new pokemon but the map is medicore,and the map graphics are kinda bland,haven't played BW2 yet but i assume it has upgraded on the medicore aspects
Also gen 5 offers a wide variety of good pokemon in competive play even LU stuff can be used in OU sometimes like golurk and even glaceon is now usable in OU now

It was OK, but it had features that helped push it forward.
The best part about this one is that it's difficult,but achievable, to catch the entire new pokedex of Pokémon due to the GTS and in game trades

I've had a friend who has played the game and he said it was a good game. Some of the pokemon I see look cool (like that 3 headed dragon pokemon, the grass starter's final form, and the legendarys) Others however look terrible. The graphics look pretty good. And the sound is good also.

I think generation 5 is a pretty good generation. The graphics are pretty nice. The Pokemon though are rather interesting. There are some cute one, like Victini and Oshawott, and there are some pretty weird ones like Munna and Garbodor. However, I do like the legends like the musketeer quartet and Reshiram and Zekrom. But I think the best part is the story. This one is rather different compared to the others. Here, you have a villian who isn't like, "I want to take over the world!" or "More land! More water!"  but instead, he's a person who just wants the best for Pokemon. And then you have Ghetsis, a very evil person who was manipulating and mistreating N his whole life just so he can take over Unova. You also have Bianca, who's dad does not want her to go on a Pokemon adventure and yet wants to and you this really saddening and sweet scene in Nimbasa. While the Pokemon may look weird, the story line has a deep feeling and that right there made Black and White a great game. I seriously fel;t like crying at the end of that game.
While I haven't played Black and White 2, I wouldn't be surprised if it has the same quality as the prequels. So overall, I think gen. 5 is a really great generation.
