If I want to win easily, Cyndaquil. But sometimes, I would pick Totodile, just to mix it up. But for gen. II, I just get all of them, since there's the glitch to get all three.

On my crystal version I did the cloning cheat and got all three starters but somehow while doing it my cyndiqual got the nickname chickorita and my chickorita had the nickname magikarp but other then that my three starters where fine.
