If I want to win easily, Cyndaquil. But sometimes, I would pick Totodile, just to mix it up. But for gen. II, I just get all of them, since there's the glitch to get all three.

I piced (Shiny) cyndacuil in hg u get more chance for shiny because there are 3 pokemon is showing to you so 3 less chance to be NOT shiny so it was non shiny chikorita Shiny cyndaquil and non shiny tododile and i choose afcourse shiny cyndacuil

On my crystal version I did the cloning cheat and got all three starters but somehow while doing it my cyndiqual got the nickname chickorita and my chickorita had the nickname magikarp but other then that my three starters where fine.
