For me, it really depends. On some occasions, I wake up fairly frequently while at other times don't wake up at all. Over the years, I have narrowed it down to my stress level. In times of heavy stress/worry, I tend to wake up more frequently.

I'm sorry but I'm still in the Matrix at the moment.  But in all seriousness I am a very sound sleeper I sleep through trains, thunderstorms, hail, my neighbors dogs, falling off my bed, and a alarm I set in high school that woke up everybody at my house except me (keep in mind I lived in a two story house at that time with bedrooms on both floors).  When I'm out I'm out unless my maxed out alarm clock rings or somebody shakes me.
