I watched Count Dracula and his Vampire Bride last night. Lately I've been getting into classic horror movies, primarily thanks to James Rolfe, who has been one of my biggest inspirations for a couple of years now. I rather enjoyed this particular film. Christopher Lee is fantastic as Dracula and Peter Cushing is a wonderful Van Helsing. The entire cast was great, really. The atmosphere was great, too. It's not too dark, but enough that you know it's supposed to be frightening. I really want to watch the rest of the Hammer Dracula films as soon as possible.

The last movie I've seen was Braveheart, and I watched it in my history class yesterday while everybody was waiting for the busses to come since school got cancelled halfway through the day.

It was a good movie. Just gotta finish it now, only 60 minutes left.

I almost never go to the theatre any more.
It used to be fun but now the crowd in this state has grown... odd.
(Note: The following list are just reasons I rarely go any more. Feel Free to skip to the end if you want to know what the last show I saw in the theatre was.)

a= No laughter. During the Previews Almost no one laughs at the jokes. Some of them are too funny and the crowd does not respond. (You ask yourself..."Am I in the Matrix?". Not kidding here.)

b= $11.50 per ticket, plus the $10.00 in gas, plus cost of water $3.00 per bottle, and the unknown cost of the Dinner that your date and you enjoy before and/or after and divide that from your bank account for a "Maybe it was good time"? Does MAYBE pay the bills??? Moving on.

c= Wal-Mart will have this flick in the $5.00 bin in less than a year after the D.V.D./Blue-Ray release. The Disk Release? = Again less than a year???. (NEXT.)

(End of List. I could add more but you have heard them all before from others. Cell phone stuff. Texting. People not making out in the back any more. They just make some "smoking stuff" deal or talk about knocking over a "7/11". Blah, blah, blah.)

The last movie I went to see was the "Lincoln" movie that the "E.T." director did.
I always go to see his flicks (Even if they are not good. I like them.)
If I were to see another it would be "Argo".
I love historical films. (Even if they are more fiction than fact.)
I have a gut feeling that "Argo" might be more truth than fiction but that's beside the point.
It has been in theatres forever. Someone thinks its a good show. I might cave in to see it.
That's my entry.
Normally I get the "D.V.D." and be done with it. If I am to spend more than $20.00 on an Item? I want something to show for it.
Good Luck To All.
I'm done. Stick a fork in me.
Peace.

The Graduate. It's a 1967 comedy-drama film about a young college graduate, played by the excellent Dustin Hoffman, who has an affair with his father's business partner's wife, known only as Mrs. Robinson, and then afterwards falls in love with the Robinson's daughter, Elaine. It's a really funny movie, though it has serious moments too, and in fact it was Dustin Hoffman's first major film role. The soundtrack is really good too, with music done by Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel. I'd certainly recommend it to anyone.

The last movie I saw in theaters was Gangster Squad, which was quite good, but I also saw The Dark Knight Returns Part 2 the night before last where it just came out on video, and it was excellent.
