I saw the Edit Layout link still hasn't moved from the Edit Profile page, hidden in a table between many others, and I was thinking: Why won't this just be put on the front page?

Example: There are countless double-links on the front page, top bar (such as html/chatroom, Your/New Posts, and Active/Online Users) so why not change the Edit Profile and Settings?

Could it be changed for purposes of ease to Edit Profile/Layout? Where the Layout link would lead straight to the page?

To be honest, I'd rather it not be so easy to find, the less people who edit their layout, the better.  Plus there's really no room for it at the top, if I added it, than the page would look messed up for people with 1024 pixel wide monitors.

I personally agree with David on this one. If it was really easy to find then we would get so many bad layouts we would all be like UGH! So it is better for it to be harder to find.

I don't see much of a reason for it to be in the front, really. Besides, like David said, it'd be a good deterrent for new people so they don't make crazy messed up layouts. I couldn't find the edit layout button the first week I was here, so I guess it works as planned.
