Personally, I'm a fan of the piano because it's simple to pick up but it sounds beautiful when you play it. There are so many variations of it too, depending on how you play. Some of the greatest compositions are made for the piano.

My favorite instrument would have to be the electric guitar, because when I pick it up. I'm teaching myself how to play it and I'm doing pretty well for a complete rookie. I love the soothing rhythms of the blues, solos, but if I want to rock out. All I have to do is flip a switch and bang my head.

My favorite band instrument is the Flute because it's angelic sounding, loud and soothing.

Violin is my favorite string instrument because my cousin taught me how to play it, she's a violinist and plays in an orchestra. So I've loved the Violin since.

I love all instruments as they can all create unique forms of music in the hands of a truly skilled musician. For instance, I see the saxophone as synonymous with both slow, blues-like jazz and upbeat dance jazz.. However, I generally will incline to piano and electric guitar. The reason I say that is that both of those instruments can easily cover a 7-12 octave range depending on the tuning, and the wide range of potential sounds. I would choose electric guitar personally because that is the closest thing to a love of my life that I got.
