I have experienced a sore throat many times. However, the last time I had a sore throat was about four months ago or so.

I havent had one in a few years.i once had one that hurt even if u just swallowed(whle not even eating)and when i coughed i felt like my lungs were being ripped apart.

Quite a few times, yes. The last time I had one was about two months ago. =| It wasn't TOO bad of one, but it wasn't pleasant.

I have before but I do not get them all that often. I usually only get them before I am going to get like majorly sick. I always dread the feeling.

I get sore throats once in awhile, usually a sign that I will get a cold. They do tend to get annoying sometimes. They don't last that long either. It lasts for a few days.

Yeah, I've experienced a sore throat on several occasions. I had to get my tonsils removed due to the fact it would swell to the point of nearly blocking my air way and plus just two weeks ago I was suffering from Strep Throat. That was a painful experience. I'm glad that's over with.

I have one right now, I tend to get them quite often due to my immune system not being in the best shape currently.
The worst I have had was when I had a sore throat to the point where I almost couldn't swallow and it lasted for six weeks.

Yes. Ironically I can deal with sore throats, I just swallow with warm substances to help soothe my throat. The 2 things that I CAN'T deal with is a migraining headache and stomachaches

Considering that you all seem to mutually agree on the severity and type of soreness, I would guess that it is something I haven't experienced. But I do get a sore throat, and by this I mean a very dry and unpleasant sometimes raspy and mildly painful feeling in my throat, pretty much whenever I snore. That's how I know that I snored last night, by the sore throats! Then again, it could be the same thing, but it sounds like something that can happen at random, and that isn't caused by something in specific, like snoring. Just like how many people get bloody noses at random, I'm guessing that sore throat is like that, and I don't get either unless caused by something like blowing my nose too hard for too long or snoring. (I actually used to feel jealous of my classmates back when I was younger for them getting bloody noses because I figured that I must be weird if I wasn't getting them, so I had always wanted to have a bloody nose to fit in XD)

Oh man I have experienced that a few times in my life but thank goodness that I don't catch them that much anymore. The thing about it when I have this problem, my throat becomes so dry that I cough every ten to fifteen seconds,that really upset me a lot cause I can't focus or sleep for that matter, I just hate having a sore throat as much as having a cold.

Augh! I HATE Sore Throats! There Is No Medicene For Them So You Just Have To Deal With It...

Yeah, I get them when the weather is really bad outside or when I get a cold. Luckily I haven't had any recently. Hopefully not any time soon either

I never get a sore throat anymore unless I actively TRY to get one. Sadly I love to imitate other people's voices and most of them make my throat sore. ESPECIALLY Micheal Bublé's voice.

I think everyone has had a sore throat at least a few times in their lives. I just had one two weeks ago when I started to get the flu. It was not fun. Thankfully I'm feeling a million times better than I was a week or so ago
