Ah, sore throats are the worst! I don't get sore throats much, unless I smoke packs of cigarettes in a day or something. I'd rather be congested than have a sore throat. Sorry to hear you're not feeling well...drinking lots of hot fluids such as tea and soup will lessen the severity of the throat pain. Try to cover your neck as much as possible...like a scarf or something.
