E.T is the abomination of gaming!! Even the most brave people turn their heads away at this mess. I would rather play Ninja Gaiden 2 blind folded and tie up then ever again play that horrible game. Pac-man is awesome an will always be a classic.

E.T. is kinda like Dr.Jekyll and Mr. Hyde for the NES. I'm not sure if it's a good game, a bad game, or even a game in general, due to the odd layout, controls, lack of conveyance, and confusing graphics and game play. Maybe it's a good game, maybe it's a horrifying monstrosity of a game, I just don't know what the heck is going on.

I still believe that Pac-Man on the Atari 2600 was the main cause of the North American video game crash of 1983, rather than E.T.
I don't think E.T. is the absolute worst game ever made, but it definitely ranks up there.

I didn't even notice all the replies since I posted this. I'm glad the majority agrees. E.T. is more boring, but Pac-Man (Atari, of course) is repulsive to look at and play. Even when I was 3 and only had an Atari and NES, I hated it, lol.

Pac-Man Championship Edition DX is amazing. I didn't get it until I got my PS3, which was sometime last year. Addictive and colorful, two things I enjoy in games. c:

PacMan on 2600 is one of the worst games I have ever played. Way worse than ET. The thing is they took a great game and just completely butchered the port on it...They took one of the most popular games at the time and just completely ruined the port.

I don't know about that I actually find Pacman to be very addicting even though all you do is guide through the screen to defeat ghosts and collect fruit to attempt to beat someone's high score.
