I actually like Marth's speed better. His counter is also a lot faster than Ike's. It's almost unfair that he can block anything with almost no advanced warning.

I voted for Ike, because he is new and cool. But unfortunately he is slow, and Marth is a top tier character. Therefore I would choose Marth to brawl in a serious match. Provided I get decent as both. Marth can counter very well, not to mention ok reach/speed.

Roy is better than Marth and Ike because Roy is fast and powerful. And my boyfriend played that silly mini game where you hit the sand bag with the bat as Roy. But the thing is, he didn't even use the bat and hit the sandbag farthest with Roy's sword. That's how bada** Roy is.

I'm really good with Ike. He can launch people far, but his jumping..... well, I haven't perfected yet. But, still, he may be slow and can't jump far, but he has really good moves that launch a lot and the hit a lot (Well, for me).

Marth is part of the first tier and he is also really good. I like him because he is quick and powerful, where as Ike is powerful and really slow. Both of them are good choices though.

Though Roy is my favorite character in Melee I'm not gonna hide from the fact that he's by far terrible in comparison to marth as well as one of the lowest tier characters.

Marth is the best Fire Emblem character in smash. Though I'm not a Brawl player, he's still good in Brawl.
In melee: he sports fast speed, a phenomenal meteor smash, and focuses power at the tip of his blade. Though this might seem like a disadvantage fom Roy's center powered blade, his sword attack actually is weaker than Marth's in every way. Marth's counter also lasts longer, even though it is not fire based like Roy's. He also can much more easily chain his attacks together and has a much better aerial game than Roy does. Roy might have his advantages, one obvious one including fire based attack and a longer lasting up B as well as a longer blade. (These are just a couple out of maybe 5 or six advantages over marth) But Marth is still better.  I would go into more details, but I'd hate to make you waste your life reading a few facts from me.
