There was a time when I thought I was too old to play Pokemon (when I was almost 12, lol) and I gave away everything Pokemon, only to get back into it a few months later when diamond and pearl came out. Pokemon has had it's ups and downs, but I'm willing to see where thye will take it.

I'd have to say it was around Ruby and Sapphire Versions. The same thing over and over just gets kinda boring. But it is one of those great game's that you'll think about playing anywhere from a few months to years later. I hadn't played Pokémon since I think 2004-2005. And just started again 1 month ago, just have that urge to replay what I used to like when I had the black and white Game Boy.

You still have to admit it's a great game, you may lose your faith in it, but there's a good chance you'll want to play it again someday.

Well, I guess which aspect of the series you're talking about. Most of the spinoff games I've stopped playing after the first or second game came out. They were innovative the first time around, but after that, they're just getting repetitive.

As for the main series games, I wasn't looking forward to 4th gen because everyone was complaining how they were running out of ideas and how old it was getting (just like what they did for 5th gen ). But I had the chance to get it so I said meh, why not. It was really much better than I expected, so I was looking forward to Black and White more than I was looking forward to the 4th gen.

I stopped watching it after the first generation. Ash getting his Pikachu, meeting Brock and Misty. That was good times. After that, I pretty much lost interest in the rest. However I do still enjoy playing the games, but don't care for the anime any longer. I think they are running out of ideas. I mean come on. a Ice Cream Pokemon? That pretty much tells you. They need to end it.

Yep I have lost faith in it to be honest. I get more fun out of just looking at the new Pokemon sprites online and seeing new attacks. I have more fun re coloring then actually playing the games now though.

I have to agree that the trash bag Pokemon was kind of the lowest of the low... if they're running out of ideas, they need to just admit it. I have not, nor will I ever (unless they make a desk pokemon :l) loose faith in pokemon. I am growing up (11 years) watching, playing, and living pokemon. Now that I've entered 6th grade, all my friends have stopped liking pokemon, because they want to seem grown up to the 8th graders, to avoid bullying. Me and my friend Noah, still like pokemon and share tips, and games about pokemon. I gave him my soul silver, as I have moved on to pokemon black, and am awaiting him to grow tired of another game, so I may play it.
