DARKANINE : Actually, on the contrary, I think the Pokemon anime is getting more mature. I still don't follow it a lot, but at least in the beginning of the Black and White season, things were picking up. Team Rocket got all new black costumes and they don't seem so bent on taking Pikachu (at least, it's not their biggest priority). They also canned Brock (thank goodness) and got rid of the very superficial themes of the story (like Brock's failure to find love). There are actually some pretty interesting things that you'll be able to find this season. Though it still pretty much appeals to 10 and unders.

For your second question, I would say, who knows? I certainly wouldn't doubt the creation of a new point system in order to deepen the game, but at this point, I don't know what that would encompass. Of course, it may anger (or please) certain Pokemon fans to include more numbers that they have to keep track of when raising their Pokemon. Personally, I wouldn't want another value system any time soon, but there may be incentive to add some if they find out that people have cracked the Pokemon code already.

Jakob99 : A purple Mudkip is shiny. You have a 1 in 8,192 chance, more or less, or getting one every time you restart the game. That's about 0.01%. You can increase your chance of getting a shiny Mudkip by breeding an already shiny one, but that would be redundant for you. Basically, the only way to get one legitimately is to restart your game up to 8000 times in hopes that your starter is shiny.

Legacy you should know that the "best" team always has flaws, and also has personal preference. It also needs to take into account if it is competitive battling or just in-game.

Some of the strongest non-legends include Charizard, Infernape, Salamence, Tyranitar, Garchomp, Hydreigon, and Scizor

In my opinion, a team that has never let me down is Charizard, Porygon, Butterfree, Dragonite, Meganium, and Flygon. I'm sure you can find a team better than mine, but i have never lost with this team.

Well yes, all teams will have flaws, that's the point of this games balancing. There will always be a team somewhere that can beat the one you put out.

legacyme3 : Well statistically, the best team you could make would consist of Slaking, and then 5 of the 6 pseudo-legendaries. It would probably be a good idea to have Tyranitar and Garchomp together, because Tyranitar's Sand Stream ability would really help with Garchomp's Sand Veil.

Who thinks that they will remake Ruby and Sapphire to follow the patttern of the remakes? It goes like:

Ok I have 2 questions. Number one how much longer can the Pokémon anime series continue even with it somewhat sucking? And two why is it that Nintendo give the subtitles of the games something either refereeing to a color or a precious stone? I never understood that concept. Oh and one more thing I do think Nintendo would make a Pokémon game based off of a starting team rocket member. They could follow the basic story line of that of the first game cube game.

Quick question, what is the best team for Pokemon Platinum if the starter was Infernape?

tyranit : It's fairly likely at this point that they'll have a 3rd gen remake. But in my opinion, something like that would be way too early. We just had 3 major Pokemon games released for the DS: D/P/P, HG/SS, and B/W. My guess is that they'll release Pokemon Gray or whatever, and remake the 3rd gen after the 6th. Because, if you think about it, the point of the remakes is partially to make them compatible to the current system. The DS can still communicate with the GBA while the 3DS cannot.

Fallman7 : The Pokemon anime will continue as long as Pokemon continues. That's just the way it goes. You have to take into consideration all the young 10-year-olds that play the game and can't tell the difference between quality and quantity.

I guess the color thing has just been a long-running trend for Pokemon. It makes sense, so the games can be easily told apart. You don't want something like "A" version and "B" version, right? x3

Nintendo doesn't have that, sadly. But someone did make a hack of Crystal for it, and I think you can play it in the RGR somewhere.

Still all good things have to come to an end eventually the series will stop and the games will stop flying off the shelves. But I do miss it when the Pokémon games and series were about quality. But I hope I'm wrong and they go back to making good games and anime.

da56dragon : I can totally answer this one. In Diamond and Pearl, there was a severe lack of fire types. You practically HAD to pick Infernape. But with Platinum, you can now get Flareon, Magmortar, and Houndoom, making the choices a little bit wider. For example, you will definitely want some type of water Pokemon. Depending on what role you want it to fill, you might use Vaporeon, Floatzel, or Azumarill(with Huge Power). A ground type would probably be good so choose Garchomp, Rhyperior, Mamoswine, or even Hippowdon. I'd also suggest a Fighting type (Gallade, Lucario, Machamp) a normal type (PorygonZ, Togekiss, Blissey) and either a grass or electric (Luxray, Leafeon, Electivire, Magnezone, Tangrowth). The rest is up to you, but some other great Platinum Pokemon I didn't mention include:

Yanmega
Weavile
Gliscor
