I am sure there Is not a thread like THIS. now, what Is your biggest fear??? be honest.

I have three.

Needles. I mean it. DONT GET ONE NEAR ME UNLESS YOU WANT TO DIE.

Heights. But for some reason I dont mind jumping... weird.

And last and weirdest.

Open water. nything bigger than a pump up pool is too big for me now. I would say Im more afraid of actually swimming. But that's me.

The dark. I am completely serious. Not being able to see, vulnerable to whatever comes at you. I would hate to be blind, to live in a world of darkness where you are ignorant to the truth right before your eyes. Oh, and deep water, I absolutely will not swim in it if it goes above my head. Its kind of the same situation as the darkness, I don't like not knowing what's in the water. The deeper water goes, the harder it is to see whats at the bottom. What if there was a Shark!! Well, looking at this, It seems the underlying fear is actually not knowing. Doesn't everyone fear that? Not knowing what's to come and what will become of you. They say ignorance is bliss and it is, but those who aren't ignorant fear it. This really shows when you look back at terrible events in the past like the Salem Witch trials and the Holocaust. Those things happened because of ignorance. People didn't know that there wasn't anything wrong with Jews or that witchcraft isn't always harmful. Because they didn't know ant they couldn't understand, they had to get rid of the problem to make the fear go away. Oops, I'm rambling. Sorry, I'll just shut up not and leave you with that. But one more thing: I guess the way I deal with my fear of ignorance is by avoiding it like having a light on at all times (except for bedtime) and just not going by the deep end. Okay, I'm done for real now...END

I'd have to agree with legacyme and rendezvous. Deep water terrifies me. Even if I have a life jacket on, that feeling of NOTHINGNESS under you freaks you out.

I have two greatest fears.

One, being heights, I can't get near any edge of something tall.

And two, darkness, I can't stand being in the dark, that's why I HATE power outages.

My biggest fear is buying a house and being in debt for a large chunk of my life, ive never been in debt before in my life.

Bugs & the dark & ghosts/demons/poltergeists.
Well..They are the reason I'm afraid of the dark.
It's kind of horrible! You never know what's gonna come at ya!

I have a fear of not getting my assignments done on time. Seriously, that's probably my biggest fear.

My greatest fear is losing everyone I truly care about and being alone in this world. Oh and getting a B on my report card. But I really am scared about getting a B.

Lately mine has been dieing and there being no afterlife.but deep water scares me so do heights.
And oddly the interstate scares me all those cars going so fast i guess.

Small spaces that I can't get out of.(my sister locked me in a closet.)

Dark bodies of water.(I dunno,I just don't trust them.)

Heights.(I went skiing and when I got on the lift I thought I was going to die.)

Well id have to say my greatest fear is loosing the 4 years of memory i do have... With the posts about fearing the dark and what can come at you it actually intrigues me to wonder what will be waiting for me .

D1998 : One of my biggest fear is being left alone...I'm somewhat of a co dependent person. Although I wish I wasn't. I was going to choose fear of dying as one of my choices but then I thought about how I'd love to meet God so I changed my mind. Other than that, I can't really think of anything....

Severe acrophobia (irrational fear of heights). In fact it is so bad, certain sections of some games, like Tomb Raider and whatnot, have been known to cause me a bit of discomfort due to the depiction of great heights. Which is odd, as I don't mind flying and in fact used to work in that aviation industry....

I have to think here for a moment. I can honestly I'm not afraid of much.

I guess I could say I'm afraid of death, being chased and the unknown. Otherwise, there really isn't anything else. I guess cause of the things I've gone through, I just know I don't fear much.

Easily being alone.

I can face pretty much anything in life, I'm a fighter, always have been always will.

The one thing I can't take is being alone. As it stands I'm already alone nearly all the time and now that I'm out of school, I don't even have friends really, I live in the middle of nowhere. My only real friends live 20 miles away (can't drive) and online, so I compensate for my lack of a social life by hanging with everyone online.

However, it is ALSO just as bad with relationships...

I've been single for the longest time, and while soon I might NOT be single, being physically alone hurts. Hopefully I can overcome it someday soon.

A murderer or a kidnapper! I think that's just about anyone's fear but that's what i'm mostly afraid of.

I would say being stuck in the middle of the Ocean. I grew up by the beach so its weird I have this fear but just the thought of either being caught in a storm or drying out like a prune out there scares me to death. And dealing with the sharks would not be a plus either.

I'm afraid of ghosts, the dark, and needles. I hate all of those things.
