That's actually a tough one to decide. When you consider their powers both have amazing abilities. How fast they can fight is what I think would decide who can come out on top. Goku is a martial artist. Martial artists fight very fast. He can also move quick to make it seem like he's teleporting. Superman doesn't have an ability like that, or one that could track something or someone as fast Goku. With that advantage Goku would easily out maneuver Superman and land surprise blows over and over. I think that while both fighters are extremely resilient Superman would be worn down after a while from Goku quick attacks (to include chi energy blasts, etc.) and eventually give in. But not before giving Goku hell.

So what it all comes down to is Super is the slower fighter.

It would have to be Goku. He has all the same powers as Superman but has extra powers as well.
Plus Goku is only affected by gravity while Superman is affected by Kryptonite and solar light as well as gravity.

I think superman wins. while I think goku is definitely faster I don't it's fair to say that superman is slow, he's faster than a speeding bullet remember? Also I think that superman has a greater health. The one time I recall that he was "killed" his body merely went into hibernation until it could be rejuvenated, it wasnt destroyed and he was simply resting. I think he could fight much longer and if it becomes a war of attrition then goku will lose. Also, I think that goku's spirit bomb is neutralized by the fact that most people would not be willing to give up their life energy to fight against superman. And yes, kryptonite can easily beat Superman but Goku would have to acquire it and not succumb it its effects also (it doesnt just hurt superman, it hurts everyone, just more slowly). I dont think its a clear cut battle but I think that superman's ability to wear goku down over a period of time and the fact that he is infinitely powerful (sun never runs out whereas goku can be drained down) give him a distinct edge.

I much prefer Goku to Superman, but Superman would definitely be the winner in a fight to the death. Goku's maximum powers are, admittedly, greater than Superman's, but he can only sustain them for so long. Superman, on the other hand, can sustain his powers forever, so long as there's no kryptonite around, and I think Goku would have a hard time finding some in the middle of a battle. that is true of any Superman vs [insert person here] fight.

When it comes down to it Superman is invincible, except for Kryptonite, so I can't see Goku winning.

Like yeah.. there is the whole issue of kryptonite.. but dont you think Goku would make it a fair fight and forget about that? I mean it's not like Superman is threatening the Earth I think Goku would win.. seeing superman fight in movies and comics, yeah he has the super speed but he fights a lot slower than youd think he would. Goku has his instant transmission, his several levels of decent (SS1,2,3 and 4).. He has Ki attacks and he always manages to pull through a fight.

I like Goku more I even like the movie DBE but it is no contest that Superman would win goku can't Breath in space and I forget but superman can reinhale his breath or some s*** so all he has to do is fly Goku out to space (superman can fly faster than gokus instant transmission read the facts of that on a different forum)
