the first computer we had was a windows 98 when i was 4. We didn't use the internet alot though, my dad used it for work, so I just used the painting programs on it and drew lots of stuff.

You had to enter the code for all the games manually from a manual and had to save what ever you had programmed onto tapes so as not to lose it.
