I love both. However, when I'm alone, I can play Balloon Battle for hours. Maybe because I usually finish 2nd in racing to my other friend, that I enjoy the fact that you don't need to be the best racer in Balloon Battle, you just need to play smart and have a little luck (though I suppose that can be argued for racing too).

I find Balloon battle much more hilarious when playing with 2 people or more. So I choose Balloon Battle. There's more room to mess around and have fun, instead of driving around the track with powerups, you can drive all over the place and exact your revenge.
