Ok everyday on the bus,5 people(including me)play mario kart.There are usually 2 sides;the ones who want to do balloon battle,and the people that want to play VS. Which do you prefer to do the most.
Me,it's racing.Especially when on normal multiplater(mario kart ds).

I personally prefer racing to baloon battle, if I wanted to play vs. mode, I would buy Mario Kart Battle. (if only something like that existed)

Balloon Battle starts off good, then gets boring and repetitive, as the others said. I would prefer racing, especially in Multi-player.

I love both. However, when I'm alone, I can play Balloon Battle for hours. Maybe because I usually finish 2nd in racing to my other friend, that I enjoy the fact that you don't need to be the best racer in Balloon Battle, you just need to play smart and have a little luck (though I suppose that can be argued for racing too). |

I find Balloon battle much more hilarious when playing with 2 people or more. So I choose Balloon Battle.  There's more room to mess around and have fun, instead of driving around the track with powerups, you can drive all over the place and exact your revenge. I like the racing better, I think it's a little bit more fun then just battling with items. But I do play Balloon battle every now and then it's pretty fun. Still I think racing is better. |

The balloon battle was bland and got boring fast.
If you ask me they could have put more effort into it. As for the racing it was fantastic!
