I don't think I can say yes enough times to this question. Cartoon Network used to be amazing. I don't even bother with it now. Toonami was so epic. I watched that back when Moltar was the host. Then Tom, and then Tom 2. Memories.......

Although I understand the need to move forward. They should do what Nick used to do with their old shows. They got a channel that showed all the older stuff. 

Meh, I think they should bring back SOME old shows. Just enough to get rid of the stupid crap currently on the channel. Things like Flap Jack, Regular Show, and Adventure Time have basically ruined the entire channel. Make it something interesting again, and I'll watch it again.

Dexter's Laboratory was cool but when the series came back the artwork was awful But  I wouldn't mind watching it again even if i did miss the other season.

I see some points from people who do want the old Cartoon Network back, but you must understand that times change. The ''new'' Cartoon Network is following in Disney's footsteps and is catering to today's younger crowd. Plus, this is why Boomerang was created to air most of the old shows. So my answer is no, they shouldn't bring back the old CN. Now on a personal note. I've stopped watching Cartoon Network( the kid part of it) for a long time, but the old shows were really good and enjoyable to watch back then. After Toonami was dropped it started to go down hill. Really the only time I would watch Cartoon Network was for Adult Swim (which IMO sucks now).

How about Reboot or Johnny Quest. Those shows were pretty cool! Both had pretty awesome concepts. They both had matrixesque ideas where there was computer worlds within worlds. ( reboot was technically computer games with in computer worlds but whatever ) either way I used to wish I could have a chance to use Johnny Quest's 'Questworld' cyberspace!! haha... also --
Johnny Bravo - yes, Dexter's Lab - yes (before the horrible change in animation quality), I liked Freakazoid too!

If Cartoon Network ever put the old Cartoons back on, man would I be so happy. It would give me so much Nostalgia. But for now, I will just sit back and relax. It's not like they would do it anyways, besides on Fridays when they show older Cartoons.

Sure, why not... I'm sure many of those older cartoons are still funny to adults like myself.

But then again, to each their own... I know people who find shows like CSI to be repulsive, but are absolutely in love with MLP (my little pony).

Regular show and Adventure time are good.
But yes, they should bring back those shows.

I'm not going to lie, I have a bit of a soft spot for Regular Show, and Adventure Time. Regular Show for all of it's Pop-culture refrences. And I can't explain why I love Adventure Time so much either. But those are about all the Modern Day Cartoon Network show's I can like at all. I'd honestly love it if they brought back SOME old shows. Such as Courage the Cowardly Dog, and Johnny Bravo. Both fantastic, but both also have a mature underlining under it, which is probably ONE of the reasons I love it so much. I'm just Glad Netflix has it. And from what I've heard, Cartoon Network now has a show where it's putting on episodes of only Old-school cartoons.

But yeah shows have gone considerably downhill over the years and the audience is for 5-10 age group and at that age group, their attention spans are like 5 seconds. Hence silliness and outright stupidity are funny and entertaining to them. That is why the latest Teen Titans show is on the air rather than the old 2003-2006 version that we all love. But for shows like Code Lyoko or shows with an actual story behind it, they have little time for that(much less the comprehension skills to understand whats going on. Its why we appreciate shows as we get older). Btw, a note about Code Lyoko. They never aired all the episodes of season 4 on Cartoon Network. They aired a few on their online content channel of Kabillion. Hence if you want to see the end of animated Code Lyoko(season 5 is now live action), or better yet rewatch the first 4 seasons, I strongly advise looking the episodes up on Youtube(they're all there, including the prequel episodes). As I said above, CL has a 5th season known as Code Lyoko Evolution that is presently airing in France. They've aired 18 episodes but won't air the final 8 until later this summer(they're presently re-airing the episodes one at a time so there is at least 12 weeks before a new one airs). If you want to watch CLE, and seriously have an open mind with the live action, check out Vimeo.com. All the episodes are there with English subtitles(Melanie Tran who plays Yumi is hot). They plan to answer a few questions that were left unanswered at the end of season 4 in season 5(like what happened to Aelita's mother).

But to expand on your Teen CN channel, I prefer that they take their Cartoon Planet idea that they've been doing on Fridays and simply make it all day on Fridays. Call it "Nostalgia Fridays" and they air all their old shows: Ed Edd and Eddy, Johnny Bravo, PPG, Dexter Lab, Cow&Chicken, Courage Cowardly Dog and all their old shows that they aired during their golden age of 1993-2007(The day CL stopped airing is when it seriously went downhill). That means French shows such as Totally Spies and Code Lyoko would be on that list and the reason I advocate for Nostalgia Fridays is because not everyone has satellite or a cable provider that has Boomerang.

There are a few good Cartoon Network shows but a larger majority of them really are bad compared to the ones back than but Cartoon Network has realized there mistakes so they made Cartoon Planet that shows a lot of old shows every Friday but I forgot what time it starts.
