Crono makes layouts, yeah, but, they aren't from scratch. In fact, the layout Crono is using at this moment and all the others he's ever made are almost completely based off of JigSaw's Akuma layout(Code-Wise). Don't know if that helps, but hey. In other words, Crono can take given HTML codes and turn them into something greater or something reversed.

layout maker staff would be a great idea! but when they make them, does that mean they could also edit others layouts to edit them for those people? or just have to ask staff to edit them still?

I really dont think people that dont know what certain bits of code do should be layout makers.
And I'm thinking the test will be more like what does this bit of code do, what does that one do. We'll just be right back where we started from otherwise, cause I have seen plenty of people take base code and completely mess it up.

He mentioned he would be a little busy for awhile. But I'll see if JigSaw and myself can get some things rolling so, and if all goes well then you can get septembern to send me or JigSaw the code and we'll apply it to your profile for you

What we could use are more pre-made layouts for layout selection. Instead of having members fail in creating their own because they want a cool one but can't code properly they should be able to choose from a wide variety of layouts and feel that they have something they can admire. I've been meaning to create some different layouts, but I need to get back into HTML shape since I'm really rusty at it.
I have a lot of really cool images to use for backgrounds that I can share.

Cyro Xero : I think that's ok so long as the person that makes the layouts can code for all the browsers.
Last time we had multiple layout types they would either work in IE but look bad in FF or look good in FF but bad in IE.

Simple as in post on the left, picture on the right, yeah they work fine cause they are just two tables really.
It's when you have say a picture over a background and want the picture in a certain exact spot over that background for example that it will mess up. Oh, and another example, some people who want their text in a transparent box like mine, they only code it for IE or for FF, not both. But simple, simple normally works ok (Though I have seen exceptions to this...)

Ouch!
I'm starting to see the bad parts of this. I closed my layout shop. There weren't that many bad layouts out there, and just because VGG had an accident doesn't mean we all suffer for it.

I'm part for this and part against this. I'm for this because I hate when crappy layouts slow down the server and I have to highlight the text just to read the post, but I'm against this because I really want a layout. Can I have someone like a global make a layout for me, instead of me just making it myself? |

Okay.... Vizzed Elite finally has a purpose.
I agree with the "layout staff" thing. But for now, can you allow staff to be able to add layout for people, like if someone made one and it is good and they want it up, can staff do it for them ? Other then that, I am okay with this idea. Oh, and VGG's accident happened due to some sort of database error, as VGG was not online at that time, as DH can't see him (he is staff). Also... No sigs ?

Well, after having read this, I'm going for it.
It's going to be a pain not to be able to make layouts though, although I'm in no position to complain as I can't really make Layouts anyhow .
