classgame : I wasn't even trying to win. There were multiple days where I could have gotten more points by posting more or doing actions for green and red but I didn't bother. My goal was never to win but to post a bunch. That just meant that I kept getting points and moved up into 2nd place.

EX Palen : yeah. The last day was great. I should have tried to keep up with Min because I could have pushed him even higher in the post totals but I didn't feel like posting much once I got close to 30k. That was my real goal but all my posting to get there seemed to really help him hit ravering so that's awesome.

SonicOlmstead : you missed out.

I'm so glad I started posting this month like I did. It's been really nice to have this distraction to keep my mind busy. I don't know if I'll ever participate at this level in a TdV again but I've probably said that many times before

Who woulda guessed going in that top 2 would be geeo and Minuano was a lotta fun watching this one go down because of how much I didn't expect geeo to be involved again.

With this I've now won Monthly green 10x which was my goal for the month while I'd like to say I'll never go for it again I struggle to imagine myself staying away from it completely that said next few tdvs I really wanna focus on getting my posting numbers up since that was my other main goal for the month and I only managed a little over 100 if I remember right which isn't great.

Minuano wins the Tour de Vizzed!

Minuano was basically unstoppable from the very beginning, no one was ever a threat. He was also able to win 3 of the Jersey competitions.

geeogree had an impressive run for 2nd place. After chasing SonicOlmstead for the entire competition, SonicOlmstead eventually burnt out and geeogree flew right past him.

shirobon03, a new user, got the White Banner. Great to see another new user get the White Banner.

DavidMcC1989 won the Gray Banner competition.

I made sure to go out in a blazing glory!!! Although I'm not sure what supposed third jersey I won? Maybe there's a new Purple Banner for Most Notifications considering I was inundated with 1 Viz?

My own thread about Ravering has the proof I was on fire at least. I lost it pretty much instantly since I was still around when the server reset last night... I should've made sure to stay logged out at least until David posted the results here to immortalize it in this thread. I'll bring the smaller screenshot over here too:


Competition was fierce for individual banners, and I was probably only "unstoppable" for the overall competition because no one else was really competing for all jerseys like I was. If there were a few other people going all-out, this would not have been nearly as one-sided as the chart might make it look. I'm not going to discredit the work I put in by saying "I probably wouldn't have won" though - there were several times I was holding back as well, so everyone's even. I earned this for sure!!!

I'll probably? participate in the next TDV but I'm not sure I'll aim for Rainbow or anything, and it'll be moreso an effort to reach 5000 posts like geeo was doing for 30k. I'm pretty happy just being able to say I won one at all.

Anyway, now I can be thankful I'm not staff and take a break for a little while. After yesterday I'm not sure I'm gonna have anywhere to post for a couple weeks at least lol

Minuano : that might have been one of the best final days ever. I haven't followed every TdV by any stretch but this is probably one of the best final days for sure and possibly one of the best days ever during a TdV.

I'd love to know if anyone else has seen a better day than that one but I doubt they could find it. Not many people posted more than 150 times in any single day in the last decade that I can think of.

And yeah, other than Soinic and I going for our own respective banners there wasn't any real competition. I imagine if I had pushed harder early on I might have been able to keep the competition a bit closer but I didn't want to go for the win because I know what it takes and I have no desire to do that again.

SonicOlmstead : fair enough. That was a pretty crazy day by the looks of it. Probably close to 1,000 posts that day.

I had no idea we had a day like any time recently. Too bad I missed it.

geeogree : Yeah it was crazy 1019 posts total the most since 2016 I'm still surprised I managed 114 while working that day and such but crazy that all that effort only got me 5 points that day lol

What a crazy Friday we had. Even if competition had dried up during the last third, this day topped it off in style.

Since I want to stay somewhat active, I'll continue with my offsite projects and try to see if there's something I can do in October. Who knows if I'll have an easier time by then, but I definitely want to keep the momentum and fight for the overall top 5 which is very much possible.

Congratz to all the winners! One more competition to cap off the year, and the pace is currently very interesting.
